Foothills Golf Course - Par 3 Course

Played here for the first time today, was playing by myself, and was harassed by the Marshall on several occasions. First time she told me another group told her I was driving my cart on the greens, which is completely false, I was on the cart path behind the green on hole number five so I’m guessing they saw that and just assumed I was on the green. When the Marshall approached me about this, she had an attitude right away and wouldn’t even let me get a word in. Finally, I explain to her that I was on the cart path behind the green on hole number five and then she actually agreed with me and said yeah, you’re probably right. No more than five minutes later, she came up to me yelling at me about playing on the wrong course… Which come to find out I was, but I asked several staff members where a whole one was for the course I was playing and nobody could give me a clear answer.

Then she got an attitude and said follow me right now, and took me to the clubhouse and had an attitude with the other coworkers explaining to them what was going on. The other coworkers then asked if I would like to play my regular nine holes on the executive course, at that point, I was so disgusted I just asked for my money back! I really don’t expect much win a round of golf is $30 including the golf cart, but that was customer service at its worst. I will never return, and I hope other people see this.

y friend and I used to golf the par three fairly regularly. Occasionally we would play the executive and rarely the regulation course. We both moved quite a few years ago and we played less and less. When we teed off on the first hole, I felt like I had never been away.

It is hard to rate the various categories (except for the friendliness of the staff) because of the temporary facilities and probably some level of difficulty maintaining the course. I rated the experience 5 stars because, in spite of the construction, the course was as enjoyable as ever. I hope to be able to golf there again in the not too distant future.

I have laid claim to the title of "The Worst Golfer on Earth". Jefferson County makes me obtain an excavation permit before I'm allowed to play but this course is still a lot of fun.

I almost forgot, the can of Modelo that I bought from the nice lady on the refreshment cart, was at a perfect 33 degrees (my estimate). You can't beat that.

Good par 3 course! Course is in great shape and nice course layout!

This is a fun par 3 that is in very good shape. It is very easy to walk, has bunker and water in play and is a great chance to work on your iron game.
