Raccoon Creek Golf Course

About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Good short track
Great location. Layout has doglegs on half the holes it felt like giving unique shot challenges. Good to great condition
Very bad Pace of play
Great course nice staff but the pace of play was horrible. Why have GPS carts for time management if not using them. The groups in front of us were so so so slow. The ranger came to offer water refills 5-7 times over the round. But couldn’t tell the groups to pick it up. 5 plus hour rounds are ridiculous
Slow Pace of Play
The course layout is great but it also tends to have the course backed up or extremely behind pace of play. Racoon creek should not book so many tee times as a 5.5 hour round is unacceptable, especially for the price point. Course is fun and in great shape but expect to wait at every single tee box for 10 min or longer.
Fun Course
The course is not extremely difficult, but it does have some challenging holes. The greens and fairways were in great shape, but some tee boxes were a little beat up. Overall, great layout and in good condition.
Staff in the clubhouse, the starter shed, and marshalling the course, were friendly and engaging.
would recommend the course,.
Great course, horrendous bunkers
Great course, great staff, great amenities, great layout. However you can't charge $100 on the week and more on the weekend and have bunkers that are like hitting off concrete, unacceptable.
Charged double for cart when playing solo
Played this course today, and is a decent track. But I played solo and didn’t know the other golfers in the group. Because I wanted to ride solo I was charged a second full cart fee, nearly $30 in addition to playing for the round with cart. Over $100 for this course is not worth it, especially when more than half is for the cart alone. Wild, and the gentleman in the pro shop felt like this was totally normal. Hate to break it to you, Jerry, this is not normal.
Oversold tee times for horrible pace of play.
The pace of play was so bad here. It was at least 10 minutes of waiting between every hole and 20 on the par threes. Tee times were way too over sold.
Great Round of Golf!
I had not played Raccoon Creek in many years and was pleasantly surprised by the day and the weather. The greens were super slow for whatever reason but that did not take away from our lovely day. Thank you!
Great at GN prices
I think this course is a perfect value for money when you get a tee time at the golf now price. Pace of play was very slow but that was to be expected on a Sunday evening. For $80 I’d come back again.
Starting pace of play
Not sure why the starter was trying to push groups along so quickly, made for an uncomfortable tee off, as well as constant waiting on the group in front and balls being hit up on us from the group behind for the entire round. Pace of play made for a very inconsistent round that took 5 1/2 hours
