Raccoon Creek Golf Course

Overall, nice Golfcourse, but the starter started yelling at us when we showed up one minute late. Then, as we were starting to tee off, he started yelling at us again, completely unprofessional.

Very nice course, only disappointment was the GPS on the cart - it wasn’t accurate and was very hard to I read

Great course, greens are fair and run true. Started at 12:20 and finished at 6. If I was local I would have left after 9. Enjoyed the round but have mixed emotions about playing again.

I was hooked up with course employees Chad, Rod & Kevin which were very enjoyable to hit with!

I really enjoy the course and everyone is always great. Biggest issue is the pace of play which typically runs 45 min behind. Overall though highly recommend especially when you get a deal during the week.

Plush Fairways / greens soft but little furry. Great shape!

Enjoyed our round at Racoon Creek. Nice course with great practice facilities. Course was in great shape and had a few challenging holes. Definately want to play here again!

Don't get me wrong I've probably played this course a hundred times over the years because I live close and LOVE the layout but my recent round had several hiccups - first the pace of play on a Tuesday mid-day round was 4 hours 50 minutes (no excuse for that) second the pin placements were atrocious (nearly all very close to the edges of the greens and/or on slopes which also doesn't help pace of play and third the bunkers need some serious work (either muddy or hard as concrete and badly in need of sand. As I said, I'm a fan of this course but these are issues that should be addressed.

Raccoon was awesome, grass was great for current drought season!!

Pleasantly surprised how very nice this course was. From driving in the front gate all the way to the outside service staff, we very enjoyed playing here.

Pro shop staff: friendly, helpful and welcoming.

Starter: Happy to see us and informative.

On course staff: No water on course so there was a gentleman that drove around with two giant coolers to refill anyone who needed extra water. Very nice.

Cart girl: friendly & efficient.

Course conditions: Beutifully rolling well maintained greens. Fairways in great shape. Rough was punishing (as it should be).

Course layout: unique & challenging holes.

Would come back here in a heartbeat. We drove about thirty minutes from our hotel. It was worth the drive.

Nice course but it is so slow even on a weekday. 2 groups on every tee- don’t understand how this place is always so so so slow.

Also, bunker sand was non existent, most bunkers unplayable- really no excuse for this poor conditions in July.

Course had a great combo of tough to easier holes and was in amazing shape. Would definitely play again and see why it books out so fast.

The course overall is in good condition, the bunkers however were either swamps or rock hard. Couldn’t play out of most of them if you happened to land in one.

5 hour 15 minute round. Pace of play did not seem important to staff. Sand traps had about 1/2” to 1” of sand. Need sand added.
