Great at the Russian
Always challenging. Shot placement on the back 9 is crutial!
Great
Pace of play was terrific. It's has a very unusual layout (10 holes on the front; for example) and several challenging holes. Get ready to lose a few golf balls.
Meh, At Best
The course layout is very wonky. The greens were VERY slow, very sandy. Must’ve just aerated them or something. The country gravel dirt roads, I mean cart paths, leave much to be desired. This course isn’t worth the drive or the money.
Mad about the Mad Russian
Mad Russian has become a very challenging course! Enjoy playing there every time.
Fun Course
We played this twice. Fun course in good condition.
The course itself is great. I wish their options for food were a little bit better and having a cart girl drive around the course would be nice instead of just sitting on hole number five.
Love it.
Very different, but very fun and playable. Playing again.
Great Hidden Gem of Northern Colorado
This was my third time playing Mad Russian, the second time being a week or so ago when I found out it was open again. We played the back tees each time and there are so many quarks and turns on this course, it makes it so fun to play. The cluster **** that is the 7th tee, 10th green, 8th tee, and 11th tee is so weird, but the plays from each makes it super fun. And the price to play for my son and I on a Sunday afternoon....what a great deal. We'll definitely come back again and again!
5 hours to play
Course was good, but took 5 hours to play. The slow play detracted from what was otherwise a good day on the course.
