Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills - Blue Course
About
The Blue Course is one of four public courses offered at the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills. Located in the city of Westminster, the Blue Course is a nine-hole, par-36 course that offers over 3,200 yards of golf. The nine holes of the course originally served as the front nine for another course on the premises, the Gold Course. Now, it stands alone as a regulation length nine-hole course and the Gold Course is a separate 18-hole course at the facility. Hyland Hills offers picturesque mountain views as well as finely manicured courses. Golf Digest even rated Hyland Hills' courses as part of Colorado's top 20 golf courses.

Great course
Love the Blue 9. Just the right challenge for average golfers. Course was in beautiful shape thanks to the rain.
Great 9 hole course
I love the blue course at hyland. It’s a quick fun accesible but still challenging track. The gold course is the 18 and blue is 9 both courses are great and the staff is always great!
First time
If not for the wedding ring held, we would rate higher. Bar was closed, we had to go to the practice area to get a beer. Also our tee time was 30 minutes later than scheduled. Course was is great shape,, staff was friendly.
Good
Beverage car is never around to buy drinks especially on hot day instead of driving around thare park doing nothing.
Golf was great. Staff could use improvement.
Loved the course! Unfortunately my wife asking the the older female bartender for a half cup of ice came with a surprising off putting attitude and a response of “ No, we need the ice and don’t just give it away to everyone who asks for it.” For the regular support we give to this course this response was not only unacceptable but completely unprofessional for someone working in hospitality. We weren’t able to reach management by phone so this was our best option.
fun 9 hole experience
Enjoyable course, even in the heat. Tee boxes and course in general had good shade spots.
The 9 hole round took over two and a half hours though due to a group a hole ahead of us. I believe the ranger spoke with them but it didn't seem to improve their pace of play until the very end.
40 min behind pace of play on 9 holes
No starter or course marshals keeping pace of play. We started almost 10 min behind tee time and were quickly over 40 minutes behind pace of play. Waited nearly 10 minutes between every shot. Otherwise, great course and nice clubhouse. Will return, just not when time of play matters.
Great 9 Hole course, but needs to be Marshalled!
Honest review here!
The facility, staff and courses are excellent!
However, mid day, mid week this time resulted in pain stakingly slow pace with no sigh of a marshal to hurry the threesome 2 groups ahead of us (twosome).
At hole 7 we were with then group in front of us, the group behind us and the foursome behind them.
This has happened to us quite a few time on the Blue Course.
A Marshall would have solve this issue!
As I said, excellent in almost every aspect and highly recommended it.
Just be prepared for slow play.
Very nice course, gorgeous Mountain View’s. We played the nine hole blue course. Very enjoyable.
NewbeIe player
Wife just started playing, she played from the junior tee box and it was perfect for a newbie.
I played from the blue tees and our pace of play was spot on with the groups in front and back of us.
Another great morning
Thank you Hyland Hills
