3rd, par-4, 374 (blues): The fairway plays a bit uphill to this well guarded green. Water, hidden from view here, is to the left. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

4th, par-4, 435: Outstanding Al Zikorus-designed hole, featuring a rolling fairway and a green set upon a knoll. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

6th, par-5, 570. A long 5-par. It will be a three-shotter for almost everyone. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

7th: par-4, 370. Woodhaven is a strong test of driving. Here, the downhill tee shot is tight, the approach more routine. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022
-
8th: par-3, 180. A tough tee shot faces you on this mid-range 3-par. Long is generally not good; left is worse. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

9th, par-4, 400. The finisher favors a tee shot aimed down the left-hand side of this fairway, which tilts a bit left-to-right. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 07/29/2022

do not play here on weekends
Weekends take 5 1/2 hours... minimum for 18 holes.
Beginners- hackers-drunks on weekends.
Not what it used to be
Used to play here 3-4 times a year pre-COVID, haven’t been in a few years and glad I paid the $38 hot deal. Course is fun and mostly in okay shape for mid July, except for the greens - some are as plush as a carpet, some have humongous dead spots, and some have both! Bunkers weren’t very well kept either.
I know it’s a knock-around course (basic carts, no amenities outside a snack case in the pro shop) but it needs a little TLC. Also, the threesome in front of us on the first nine took 2 1:2 hours to play 9, but the starter/ranger never moved from his spot on first tee: when I mentioned it as we went around the second time all he said was “yeah, got a little backed up today.” 2 of our 4 dropped after 9 and the Second 9 as a twosome with no one in front of us took barely 90 minutes.
Woodhaven is running downhill
Slowest and most diseased greens I have play, and they used to be nice and fast. Looked like the greenskeeper quit. Clubhouse smelled of urine.
greens a mess no one toldl us
greens were very bad shape very slow play no ranger will not play back here the rest of this year, played here a lot but never like this
Can’t go home again
Returned after over a year away. Played there for at least 15 years before moving away. Conditions were terrible. Greens were rotted or the turf was so long the ball barely moved. I get that the weather has been rough but they have nerve charging full price!!
Well kept hidden gem in CT woods
Stopped and played here on a golf road trip - nice course and friendly staff - not challenging but good for average golfers - facilities need desperately need upgrades
Father's Day Eightsome!?!?
Nice golf course. Great layout. But have to wonder why a course would allow eight golfers in one group on any day, let alone a busy golf day like Father's Day. They weren't even respectful to the course or the rest of us playing. They had 4-5 carts and were parking them a few feet from greens. No etiquette in that group. And the ranger just drove around paying it no mind.
Clean ans easy going
I want to send out a special thank you to the staff and the starter. This was my first time here today (new player this year) but I will definitely come back.
