At this excellent par-4, the third fairway curves around a large pond, a threat to both drive and approach shot. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2022

The fifth is a long par-4 that plays downhill from a high tee, then on towards this sprawling green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2022

Seven, a long par-3, is easily one of the course’s hardest holes–partly because it is so well protected by greenside bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/13/2022

One. 354-yard par four. The 13-index opens things up somewhat gently, yet the green is well-bunkered. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Three, par-4, 423. The hole plays downhill but to a tight landing zone guarded by the pond. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

The 492-yard, par-5 fifth is tempting for big hitters. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Seven, par-3, 249. It’s easy to see why this is the toughest three-par on the golf course. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Eighth. This long 5-par (579) is open enough for swinging away from the tee. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Sixteen will require your best drive to this tight, dog-legging fairway. The second shot is no picnic, either. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/29/2021

Needs work.
A goog track undergoing lots of change. Construction is everywhere. No rakes for sand traps. Should be good in 2 years.
Well maintained, great scenery awful pace of play, very crammed holes
Pace of play was just awful, there was about a pile up of 5 groups all moving slow as can be and the holes are all so close together there were people all over the place it was hard to breathe
u314163210170, thanks for the amazing review and for choosing Laurel View Country Club. We hope to see you again soon!

Great Course
I played for the first time and I must say I’m a fan. A lot of fun holes and conditions were very good. Greens were borderline exceptional. If I had to critique I would say that they watered too much the night before. There is a lot of construction going on around the grounds and clubhouse but the course was pretty untouched by it. I’d recommend and play again!

Good now and better to come
Course is undergoing extensive renovations (May ‘23) of everything other than the course itself and seems to include extensive residential development nearby. The course had been allowed to fall into significant disrepair and some of that still affects the experience. Most of the mess is near the clubhouse where major earthworks are unavoidable and the internal clubhouse where works are sorely in need of completion. On the course, the cart paths are in diabolical condition and there is a wasp infestation in the green side bunker on the 9th which is extensive and scary.
The good news is that it’s a lovely course - good bones. It has a couple of classic holes, the immediately obvious 10th being one. There are several steeply inclined holes like the 9th and 14th which add an attractive level of challenge as well as aesthetic appeal. There is water in a couple of places including a pond on both nines but some soggy spots on fairways. The greens are in good condition and well contoured if a bit on the slow side. Bunkers are not overly challenging and were generally well maintained.
We two booked a GolfNow hot deal which excludes a cart. The sign in the Pro Shop advised that carts are $25 but they charged us $40. When we pointed to the sign, we were told that it was $25 per person. I’d prefer to be hiring a BMW at that rate.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our business. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your visit, including the ongoing renovations and the confusion regarding the cart rental price. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our services. Thank you again for your review.

Beautiful course and conditions
Course is in great condition, learned that they are doing a lot of work on the course with removing trees etc and it is now in pristine condition. The greeens are rolling so nicely. Beautiful views and tricky course but def recommend.

I’ve been playing this track for years. They are making lot of changes to the property and I think when it’s complete, it will be beautiful.
Greens in mid season form! Rolling consistent and quick.

Course was in great shape
Course was in great shape. Front nine we were moving right along. We did have a few places where we had to wait. The problem was the back nine. Groups went off on the back that did not play the front therefore the group in front of us were waiting on every tee while we were waiting on the cart path. Groups should not go off the back ahead of the groups that played the front. Front 9 took us 1 hour and 50 minutes but the back took us 2:45 .
Paul9925687, thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing Laurel View Country Club.

Laurel View - More Potential Than My Golf Game
Playing golf in CT in March is always a gift, regardless of the course. And to do it at such an affordable price is a no -brainer! Laurel View continues to be under a massive remodel, both on course and off. For this reason and the time of year, the cart paths and exterior surroundings are still a work in progress. However, the playing area (tees, fairways & greens) are in great shape for March. Grabbing a burger and beer afterward is pricey, but well worth it. The food and service by Claire were top notch and would make any golfer feel better about their round! Once renovations are completed, this may be one of the best public courses in CT, if they keep the price reasonable.
u314161121597, thanks for the amazing review and for choosing Laurel View Country Club. We hope to see you again soon!

Getting better!
Course is continual getting better with new ownership. Can’t wait for the spring. Beers are little to expensive that’s my negative 🤷🏽♂️

16 out of 18
I was very impressed with the condition of the course. Everything looked really good holes 17 and 18 still are in a rough conditions. That’s all for us today. from entering the course the new sign, the view is very impressive. The banquet building with all the glass on the second floor looks beautiful. I’m sure by the time this year season starts the whole course is going to look beautiful.
Hello, artofrock. Thanks so much for your review. We're so glad you enjoyed your round at Laurel View Country Club. That's what we like to hear! We hope to see you again soon!
Expensive cart fees
Booked using a hot deal with a pretty good rate, only caveat was it was for walking. No big deal, figured I would add the cart when we arrived.
Surprised to learn that the cart fees were $20 per person which pretty much negated the hot deal.
We did enjoy the course though
