Much improved
I was pleased to see the many improvements to coarse. Greens and Fairways very good
Great potential
I used to play it over 25 yrs ago and really enjoyed the beauty Today, We didn’t see anyone out on the course as a ranger or any bag check person to help . . It appeared almost deserted Understanding the damage to the course from the tornado, we were surprised how much damage and trees down remained the weeds on the off fairway Teebox grounds were excessive hard Presented as the whole place is run down compared to how it was yrs ago
Didn’t feel the price reflected the quality it should have been Sad to see

Course is good bunkers are bad
I did really enjoy playing the course but the bunkers were awful and they cut way too many trees and now I feel like the course is just too easy compared to how it used to be

Laurel View is not what it use to be. However, you can tell they are trying to fix it up. Always enjoyed the layout. Keep up the good work.

Not a great course
They have cut down all the trees, left huge swaths of wood chips, and ruined this course

Not worth the money
Thought I was getting a decent deal through tee off to try this course out for the first time.
At check in I was advised the rate didn’t include a cart which would be $25/ each additional golfer. Keep in mind that it was cart path only.
The course was under considerable construction due to tree removal and regrading of much of the land.
After 6 holes of play and only 1 hour and 10 minutes of play a ranger advised us to pick up our pace of play, which seemed out of touch.
Given the experience I wouldn’t pay $58 again for a round of golf here, but instead try elsewhere....

Great Time
Good course, challenging, nice staff and the course is being renovated, but it is still nice!

Potential
We played this course for the first time on our second outing of the year. It was still early and you can tell the course was in transition. The fairways are very firm making iron shot a little challenging and half the traps lacked the white sand that makes them pop! Overall this courses potential is awesome! Its narrow and unforgiving on more the half the holes so bring your A game! The greens where challenging and great condition. I will be back once the trees fill in and ground softens to compare!

Avoid for the price - so much potential but so far away
Grew up on LV, awesome layout. But they’ve cut down just about every tree down on the front 9. I get many of these may have been damaged from the tornado years ago, but man it takes all the character out of the course.
I’m not seeing how this experience is worth $55. Plenty of better AND cheaper alternatives in the area.
Also neither the range nor the grill were open.
Avoid, for now.

Nice but lots of branches along fairways
The course is quite open and hilly. If you walk be ready for some climbs. A storm this early spring knocked down lots of trees so they have cut and bulldozed a good bit between the fairways. Still a good bit of limbs and trunks pulled up along the fairways. Fairways and greens are in good condition. Good value but will be nicer when they finish cleaning up.

Wow, what a difference!
Amazing how many trees are being taken down. Going to really make a huge difference with turf growth, playability, views, etc. The changes highlight what a good layout LVCC is. If you haven’t been out to play recently, you’ve got to see what they’ve done. It’s really pretty incredible.
