Great course, well kept, great staff
Very well kept course that can be challenging at times. Have to hit em straight because there is a good amount of trees and also water on a few holes. The greens roll TRUE, are very well maintained, and also challenging depending on pin placement. Only thing to keep in mind is there are a lot of walkers which can kind of kill the pace. Staff is really friendly and helpful, great little CT public course

Only drawback is no driving range. Recommend strongly
Would not provide us a cart.
Booked a Tee Time through golf now for 7:10. Showed up 20 minutes early and the starter said they did not have any carts because of a tournament. Note, I paid for a cart in the tee time.
By the time we made it to the 12th hole we passed all the carts set up for the tournament. Not one person for the tournament had arrived yet.
The staff offered no reimbursement of any kind, and was rude for each question we asked.
You need to get your customer service together Oak Hills.
Nice course annoying carts
I like this course, it's kept in good condition many interesting holes although not a long course so not so many holes where driver is useful. My only negative is the carts. I feel they have gone overboard with the limitations and the ads. It feels like you are tapping the GPS screen every 2 minutes to get back to golf information. Either it's warning you to be cautious and actually slowing the cart down, or it's advertising something. Not every golfer is a maniac with the carts. It is so overbearing that it becomes a bother. Other than that nice course to play.
Misogynistic Pros
Great course but the facility would greatly benefit from having a woman pro. The golf pro and assistant aren't available for women. It's impossible to get basic help like re-gripping your clubs. The course is dominated by men (most very nice) but the head pro is unnecessarily full of himself and IMO needs an attitude adjustment.
Excellent 3pm tee time
The mid afternoon tee time provide an excellent pace of play. Staff always friendly. Will play again and again
