Popular for a reason
This is a very fun golf course. During the season it is packed and even in the middle of the winter it had plenty of play. Greens are in great shape for the winter. Shortish and forces your accuracy. Enjoyable.
Laughter in the rain
First time here and played in a light then heavy rain so conditions not ideal. Thought the course was in fabulous condition, interesting layout and fair greens. Behind a very slow group for first nine holes then they stopped for lunch so back nine quicker and more enjoyable. One of the Rangers was friendly, And helpful. Check in people and people around the startup and drop off were a bit surly. Explained it was our first time and they were a little “cold”.. and it was not over crowded. However, will go back next

Great Track, Pace of Play an Issue
This golf course is in excellent condition and offers many challenging holes. I feel it is on par with most private golf courses in the northeast. My only complaint is the pace of play, 5+ hrs on a Thursday morning. Message to management, reduce the number of players per hour. I am going to give it one more try next Tuesday.
Outstanding Golf Course - Pace of Play is a Problem
This golf course is a Gem. Conditions are outstanding, greens are in excellent shape. My only gripe is the pace of play 5hrs 10 min. Played on a Monday at 1:20 PM had to wait on every shot. It's a shame, the 1st time I played the course it took 3hrs 40 min. Message to management with 2 rangers on the golf course this should not happen.
Terribly slow
Thursday morning 9:30 tee off. Quit after 9 holes at 12:30. After 3rd hole (50 min!), I asked the ranger how long the round would take. He was on his cell phone chatting away - never took his phone from his ear and just waved his hand gesturing, "I have no idea." Terrible.
course is good condition
Bring my kid with me since nobody can share cart unless in same household, but they are asking him to stay in the cart no matter what, otherwise we will be asked to leave immediately, This is ridiculous.
Nice course, good condition.
First time playing this course and was very impressed. The layout is very tight with all the holes right on top of each other so be prepared for wayward shots to come near you. Course is very well maintained and greens were in great shape. Would recommend to anyone to try at least once.
Driving Range Danger
The danger from balls flying over the net at the range is absolutely ridiculous and negligent. There need to be more employees watching to make sure they’re not endangering other people’s lives. Management, you clearly make more than enough money so do a better job. And just saying play at your own risk isn’t good enough.

Very challenging golf course. Will no forgive a bad shot. Easy to 3 put
Fast fast green
Course in really good condition all around with very fast green. That will test your putting skill
Best public course in Fairfield county
By far the best pubic course in Fairfield County. Very well maintained course, excellent driving range (mats) and a decent putting and chipping area. Times are hard to get (understandably). Having played $$$$ courses around the world, and a lot of the local courses in the county, can say with confidence this sets the right bar for quality for a public course at affordable prices.
