A Reluctant 3-Stars
Sterling is one of my favorite courses, which I've played for a decade now and which I played for the first time this season yesterday. The fairways and greens are in good - very good shape, but OMG, the bunkers . . . all of them . . . are in terrible condition. Hitting out of them is like hitting out of a gravel pit. Deplorable for a course of this calibre. What would have been a solid 4-star review is barely a 3-star one. The bunkers need fixing pronto!

The course was in excellent condition except they had aerated the greens and a few of the greens were close due to aeration.

Needs more time
Two temporary greens at the moment and lots of work going on at the course. Good value for the course and time of year but still a little disappointed in the condition of the course at this time.
