Grateful for mid December Play
Happy to get out on this course for mid December play. Fairways had been recently aerated, so I am looking forward to great conditions come springtime. Definitely will plan on playing here in 2025. Happy Holidays!
Challenging in great condition
The course is in great condition for this time of the year. Greens were super-fast. The course is hilly and shots at times have to played satirically due to the contour of the fairway.
One of New England’s Finest
Love Quarry Ridge! You can’t beat the views during the Fall. Great value and the course was in great shape. Only gripe was our cart died on the 7th hole, but the staff quickly drove a replacement out to us and we maintained pace of play.
Falling leaves were everywhere.
It was short courses but extremely difficult.
You need to manage every shot for keeping better score. There were so many leaves all around golf courses. I know it is Fall. If I missed fairway, I gave up searching a golf ball. Fairways were so narrow and I couldn’t stay on fairway. Imagine how many balls were lost during the rounding. Fairways and greens were normal. I didn’t understand why golfers gave high stars at this golf course. I better recommend to go to Pocono, PA. It is almost same shape of courses, but it is much better than this golf course for enjoying.
Late Fall TeeOff Deal Great at Quarry Ridge
I love this course. Very interesting. Uphill, downhill, sidehill. Narrow, but short. Quick greens that are consistent from hole-to-hole. Putts stay on line.
The day I played, there were leaves on all the greens. Played by myself, in a cart, in about 3 hours. Pretty nice.
The perfect autumn Golf location
I play Quarry Ridge about once a year, it’s a bit of a drive from the house, but the $29.99 hot deal was too much to pass up. Played on a brisk Monday morning in October. The course was in wonderful condition. They really did a great job blowing all the leaves off the fairways and greens. In fact, the only time I had to look for a ball in the leaves was when I hit it into the deep rough, The Greens were fast. The sand was good for my two bunker shots. Played in under 3 hours. No complaints at all.
Beautiful Course
A challenging course but also fun to play. Course is well taken care of and the surrounding scenery at this time is beautiful.
Great course, slow play
I have played Quarry Ridge 6 times now. I love the layout and condition. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens are always tip top. My only complaint is the pace of play. This course seems to attract very slow, plodding players who many times are hitting off the blue tees when they should be playing the green tees. They don't move with any sense of purpose and seem to deliberate over every errant drive, chip, and putt. They retreat from the greens like they are in a funeral procession. Worst of all, they don't feel compelled to allow following faster players thru... Other than that, it's a wonderful facility with very challenging hole that makes for a very enjoyable outting. Perhaps the management can do something to encourage faster play. Sadly, if that happens, tee times will become difficult to obtain for this fantastic course.
Take the challenge at Quarry Ridge.
This a spectacular course. Quite hilly - you’ll need a cart. Views of the surrounding terrain were fabulous. The course was very green - they obviously water enough. The leaves were just starting to turn into fall colors. Some blind tee shots. Greens were smooth but had a lot of unrepaired pitch marks. Pro shop staff was friendly - he let us go off before our scheduled tee time.. Lots of ledge rock outcrop but it doesn’t interfere with play.. There’s a restaurant on the premises but we didn’t try it. Highly recommend.
Improving conditions
I always liked this course layout , the greens and maintenance are getting better and better.
