Golfer Reviews
Ground way too hard. Good shots bounce and go into the rough. A course should not punish someone for a good shot. Weird layout- forced carries after being forced to layup off of the tee.
Some of the carries are longer than what you can even hit your tee ball. Abruptly ended fairways that lead to a lost ball. Greens are a bit too undulated in weird spots, for their size on the back. This causes almost impossible putts even from below the hole. Frankly, I’m not sure how a higher handicap golfer can even enjoy playing a course that punishes good shots.
Or putting on a green that has almost zero flat spots.
The course was in good shape. Greens are very nice and fast. Possibly a touch fast for their undulation on the back. As a single digit handicap, I scored fine, but I could see a high handicap golfer really struggling here. I’ve played one of the hardest courses in the world, and there are no gimmicky holes, no crazy undulations on the greens, and no forced layups. On any top ranked course in the world, you get rewarded for taking a chance and hitting good shots. At this place, you get punished for trying to play smart.
Great course
Tee boxes could be in better conditions but one of my favorite course its shorts so it’s perfect for new golfers
Great 4th July Golf
First the Maintenace on the course is Super.
Putting Greens we 100% perfect, I have seen this year. REALLY Good. Weather 83* Small cool wind.
Gotta know where to place shots
We played here while visiting the area. It was a cool but windy and rainy day to play, but course was very nice.
The front 9 is different from the back. Lots of water and marsh area, which is fine as long as you have a gps to show you before hitting. Definitely a course you need to play more than once to learn the safe spots. The back 9 was a lot tighter but scoreable. Couple of short par 4 that are drivable even from the back tees. Tees, fairways and greeens were all in great shape though. Definitely would recommend this course.
5 birdies day
should have been more but that's golf. Chad has course in great shape, hope it holds. Greens perfect rolling and holding nice.
June 4th day
Course as usual in very good shape. We play al ot for that reason. Greens fast and tricky to read.
