Pace of Play
On golf now there were plenty of unfilled tee times but when I got to the course it was PACKED. On the third hole there were 3 groups of 4 waiting on the tee box and this was the way the rest of the 9 was. After waiting 30 mins to tee off on hole three I skipped to the back. The starter did an awful job combining groups and letting people just tee off whenever. Not worth the money to sit out there in traffic all day. Go for it if you love 4 hour 9s
Too dry
The course is too hard and too dry. You need to alter your watering habits so it’s more playable and less concrete dirt
Traditional
Langston offers a friendly experience that embraces its history and culture. It may not be a top rated private country club but the people care and it’s showing more and more. There have been a few up grades and you can tell that if a few more dollars were poured in for actual cart paths… Langston would be a top rated spot to play so you could absorb culture
Nice course, will play again.
Fun course with a great history. While it was a fundamentally straight forward course, with very few opportunities to get into trouble, I really enjoyed playing here.
Langston continues to incrementally improve. I put it on par with the more popular Haines Point course.
Greens were in good condition. Fairways sparse in spots, good in others. Definitely improving.
No cart service that day despite the very warm weather. They would've made a fortune.
Good Day
Course and greens in good shape.Best thing about Langston is when the course is wet No golf carts. Thanks
