About
Buffalo Run Golf Course is a locally acclaimed 18-hole, municipal course in Commerce City. The links-style layout covers 7,411 yards from its longest tees with a par of 72. Designed by Keith Foster, there are challenging elements such as water hazards and bunkers that come into play on the course. The wind creates difficulty on this golf course. Buffalo Run Golf Course's front nine is less challenging than the back nine but it builds up good practice for the second half of the game. One hole to note is the demanding 13th hole. It is a par-3 that has a well-placed bunker near the green.

Par 4 paradise...
The collection of par four holes on this course (from the Gold/Black tee boxes) are as good as any on any golf course in Colorado. Solid tests for all golfers and opens up several great playing options as well.
Nice twilight course
The weather was good, the people were so friendly. The course is a bit beat up (back 9), but scenery is awesome.
Enjoyable day
Got paired with a super nice couple. Enjoyable round even though there still is a couple holes needing a lot of work and one hole completely closed.
76 degrees & windy... perfect!
All holes are open! Hole#11 is still a little rough due to new irrigation lines cut down the fairway but it'll cure fine later in the season.
Love this little piece of Scotland in northeast Denver metro area (Henderson). Highlands-type grasses/native grasslands, well placed bunkers including some fairway bunkers, rolling hills of course so practice up on your shot game shots, especially classic bump & run shots.
Awesome!
Value course
This is a good value on hot rate. I wouldn’t pay full price.
Be prepared to hunt balls
Greens are in kind of rough shape, a lot of patched turf, 11 is closed for an irrigation project and be ready to hunt for anything that doesn’t land in the fairway. Heck, be ready to hunt for anything that rolls off the fairway, our group piped multiple drives that landed dead center and we couldn’t find them.
Get what you pay for
This course is under extreme repair. Many of the greens are patchy and patched with sod. Some holes are completely ruined and on the repair. Give this course a couple years and it should be great.
Great value - course is recovering
This course took a beating over the winter. There are still a few holes with visible repair work on the fairways and greens, but because of that the green fees are very attractive and most of the course is now in very good condition
Kind course
Course was in great shape. I went low and was dressed to impress. Beer cart employee couldn’t have been more pleasant…. Post round Buffalo burger…. Of lore … great experience…7 and 7 was poured with class and kindness….nuggets covered… great night really…
Only 17 Holes? Slow pace and a super beat up course
The complete course isn’t available for play due to construction. Which isn’t mentioned until checking in at the pro shop. A good portion of the greens have huge areas of patched overgrown turf obstructing putting lines. There’s dead clumps of mowed grass all over the fairways and rough covering your ball making it nearly impossible to find and keep up pace of play.
Fairways and greens
I played this course the first week of June and it was pretty bad the course needed a good mowing for the the entire course, I played yesterday and the course was improved considerably it still needs a little more improvement but at least I will come back to play thank You.
Always fun but...
Not when you have to follow vacationing people who've NEVER played golf before and are trying to sneak in a full round in 3 hours because they think that's all it should take...L-O-N-G D-A-Y...!?!?!
