Buffalo Run Golf Course

Aside from the 2 par 4's converted to par 3's, the course was awesome! Great layout and challenging. Some patchy spots, but the price made up for those. I will be back to play this course again.

Pace of play ridiculously slow. Conditions horrible. 2 holes played as par 3s bc they are dug up - and nobody told us. Will never play there again.

Price was right but bummer so many holes under repair. Cart path only really slowed things down. Rough was very rough. Could have held the Commerce City US Open there…

Would like to try again when they are 100%…

Played reverse tees so back nine first in 2hours and 40 minutes might as well have been 3hours because that’s what it felt like tried to go off earlier but the starter wasn’t in a cooperative mood and did see a threesome up ahead that as a single I could have joined them but like I stated earlier the starter wasn’t wanting to do his job add that with a couple par four holes shortened to par holes for the day and you have a miserable golfing experience so in wrapping up it would be very difficult for me to ever return to Buffalo Run !

I have been playing this course regularly over the past three years. While they have been reworking the drainage and irrigation, it has always been a great value and the staff have been excellent. The quality of the greens is out standing and the layout is challenging without being unfair. However, this last visit was not good. The staff in the pro shop seemed dismissive and unhelpful. It was as if I was wasting their time. There were two hole set up as par threes while the new fairways grow in. At least they are playing to the real greens, so gps yardage was not affected. The problem was the first cut of rough. Several times, the guys I was playing with had balls that rolled just off the fairway and we could not find them. It slowed play and made the course almost unplayable for higher handicap golfers. I've consistently recommended this course over the past few years. That is not the case moving forward.

Been playing golf for 25 years. The group ahead of us was unbelievabley slow. 3 hours to the 10th hole. Our group skipped the 11th hole to pass them.

I can’t believe how long it took to play this course. The Ranger came around 4 times and never moved the group in front of ours pace of play. Two long par 4’s were even playing as 100 yard par 3’s…

Absolutely insane. The bar staff were on about the same pace of play as it took 20 minutes to grab a beer with only two people ahead of me.

The course was fun with good views and no knock on them for the construction, they priced accordingly and I understand that maintenance is part of every course.

But the ranger not moving the group ahead of us along or letting us play through was a total drop of the ball.

We had a great time playing Buffalo Run the day after Mother’s Day. It was only $40 per person and that was on a weekday and that included your cart. Holes number one and eight are off-line as well as the driving range because a couple years ago May, we had a really bad rainstorm out here in Commerce City that caused a pretty big flood so they’re dealing with the aftermath and then trying to redo the drainage for that area of the course. So for the money on a weekday, you can’t beat 40 bucks and the rest of the course is perfectly fine. Listen guys we’re not on the tour! So come out and play Buffalo Run during the week you’ll get your $40 worth.

Course conditions very poor. Greens were covered with excess sand causing the ball to jump and slow down. Holes #1 and #8 were closed due to repairs, which we knew prior to play. Ate at the restaurant which had great food and friendly service.

Please figure out how to successfully prepay on GolfNow before the round. I did, the pro shop said I didn’t, now I was charged twice for the same round. Thanks.
