Kiahuna Golf Club is a challenging short course that has narrow fairways. The course is structured around many ancient remnants of authentic Hawaiian culture. too much
Course had piles of cut grass around greens which affected play. For the high green gees the conditions were not much better than a hacker special. Overpriced.
Play 36!!
First time out at Kiahuna and was pleased. 12 min gaps for tee times meant no waiting. First 18 was a good intro and there are some angles that local knowledge really would help with (aimed at the wrong pin on number 3) but the second 18 played for a SIGNIFICANT discounted same day replay rate and had even more fun the second time. Some peeks at the ocean are out there and awesome mountain view’s.. The Kiahuna community is growing so there is construction noise occasionally and there are a few areas of repair on course/had one dirt lie in a fairway…so not excellent down the board. Would play again - especially if the tee sheet was a bit sparse. Played 36 holes in less than 6 hours! The staff are great, friendly and a lot of Aloha.
Excellent Value
The course was in excellent condition. The staff was very friendly, especially the starter. The rental clubs I used were also great. I only played 9, and wish I would have played 18. Don't hesitate to play this course!
Favorite Kauai Course
Always good to come back to Kiahuna for an enjoyable round in a great setting. The staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I recommend Kiahuna to all.
Excellent course for the price
A very good course, especially the back nine. Played in 3:15 as a twosome on a quiet Monday. Greens are quite tricky (or maybe I'm not so good a reading them). Very enjoyable!
Nice layout good condition
Played first 18 in under 3 hours early morning then took advantage of $25 replay rate. However that took 5 hours behind incredibly slow foursome. Love the course but needs some marshalling. Possibly COVID has impacted their business. Don't get a drink at the turn, $14 for a vodka tonic.
