Golf Advisor: Top Courses in Idaho (2023 #1)
Reviews
Nice course with overall good condition but lots of wet spots.
The course is fun to play but the pace of play is horrible, particularly on back nine. Lakeview needs to have starters out to monitor pace of play on back nine. A 3.5 hour back nine is unacceptable and happens most time I play.
Nice Course
Really liked the layout. Course was in overall excellent shape. Narrow fairways making for a challenging round. Pace of play was a little slow mainly due to a group of seniors in front of us who didn’t seem too interested in teeing off in hen the fairway was clear. Not a huge deal but no staff in place to move them along. My only complaint.
Beautifully Kept
Nice Greens and Fairways. Good pace of golf played
Good Course in Boise Area
Overall a Good Course to play while visiting Boise ID area. Starter was helpful. I had played this course several years ago and it still maintained well.
1st time playing - not super impressed.
A few longer holes are construction and playing as par 3 currently. As well as a tee box closed with no sign indicating where to tee off for that hole. Many of the greens were in rough condition as well. I got a deal of $53 for my round and would not want to pay anymore than that for the current conditions of the course.
Nice course
Very nice layout and the driving range is one of the best I have ever been too
Ready for Primetime
I have been playing Lakeview since it was 9 holes. Course conditions were up and down over the years. Now, it fairways are in great shape, greens are a B, still some patchy spots and looking better every time I play. Bunkers are not going to be quality until they get real sand. It's a tough course, check the slope ratings. Tight and the green slope on some holes is steep. Great clubhouse, good carts, paved path, new bathrooms. The city did the right move to take it over.
Best Course In Boise
This course was a great experience from the beautiful views and contest staff. I would highly recommend this course to a friend and will be coming back very soon this summer!
Always a solid choice!
Course in good shape, friendly patrons, solids greens…great course in the Boise area!
Full and challenging course
Course was green in good shape and had some challenging rough. Green were in good shape and run true.
Early spring... Played 3rd week of March
Course was in pretty good shape for early as it was. Homes totally surrounded in neighborhood, many of the water features were not filled yet, so had several fairway bunkers without the sad Without GPS we would not found the place as there is no signage directing you there
