Highlands Golf Course

I love this course and play it quite often. However, on this Sunday it was over run with kids. The 6 some in front of was consisted of 2 kids about 10, a teenager and three adults. The two kids were playing out of the adults golf bags and riding on the rear bumper of the golf cart. My wife and I played with a single who had his wife as a observer and his 10 year old daughter. Nice couple and well behaved daughter but I do not go golfing to be entertained by a 10 year old chasing after lost golf balls wearing a childs blanket as a cape. Plus it was slow playing with waits on each hole. The course needs Marshals on the weekend. We played in 4 hrs. 30 mins. which is the course limit. But when you wait for each shot it makes the day long long long.

Overall good experience, course soggy in some areas, nice day of golf

This was my first time playing this course and I was very impressed. For the low booking price I was not expecting much, however the course was in great condition and had challenging well designed holes. I'll definitely play here again. The staff in the proshop and restaurant were friendly and attentive. My playing partner commented later how many courses could learn a few things about service here.

The course is beautiful. It just needs maintaining. Bunkers are in bad shape. Some greens are better than others. Inconsistent speeds. Burn spots etc.
Bar and grill top notch. Best nachos ever!

First time playing the Highlands and I enjoyed it. Tournament in front of us, so it was on the slow side. Course conditions were great! Awesome range, and chipping area. Course is short but very narrow. Some long walks between holes.

I am a local and this is my course of choice. It is a very pretty course and has some challenging holes. A few of the greens suffered frost damage from the winter season, but other than that, the course is always kept in great condition. There is an active marshall who tries to keep play moving along.

No, I didn't have a hot (as in great) round of golf, but it was 100 degrees out that day. Even so, we enjoyed the round and found shade readily.

The course was in great shape. The grass on the greens was very long, making the greens very slow. Overall the course was fun to play!

what a great time,fairways great,clean course,only had a couple things that could of been better.The greens need to be groomd ,restrooms i didnt see any if ther was didnt see it,only other was Orderd at the turn on 9 food wasnt close to being ready,staff was besy talking with freinds.the guy behind pro shop was great. I would come back esp for the driv rang and chiping green.Thank you for a good exp.

Play Highlands often. I usually get a good deal on Golf Now and it is convenient between Coeur d' Alene and Spokane

Got a great rate on their website an hour before I played. Other than some winterkill on some of the greens, the course was in good shape. Got behind two couples and waited the first six holes but they let us through and we played unimpeded until 18.
Great value.

Greens looks like half sand half rough, but they have healthy spare sod grown. Poor golf course condition for the prices charged. Don't pair the 2 somes in 5 min pairings and wonder why by the par 3 3rd there are 5 groups waiting

A lot of greens were in very poor shape with a lot of bear spots. This has been a trend over the last couple years here.

Played on Saturday morning...perfect weather. The course was in great shape...some issues on a few greens, but overall very good. The greens were fast and true. The on course restrooms were nice and clean. food and drinks were very good, as was the practice area. Would recommend this to anyone.

I played 36 holes in 4 hours with a cart as a single. Fast play with friendly people on the course who let me play through.

The "hot deal" was a steal at 14.50 cents for 18 with a cart. Can't beat that. The design is fun and interesting, but not too challenging. For a long hitter you can chew it up.

The greens are still a bit ragged as they are coming out of winter. I would like to try to play it when they are flush. Overall fun round at a nice local course in Post Falls.

Like most of the courses in the area the Highlands has some winter turf damage but with some sunshine it'll be just fine. Pro shop staff, especially John could not have been nicer or more friendly. We enjoyed a very pleasant day.
