Course continues to improve
Holes 10, 15 and 16 are challenging for short hitters to carry the hazard areas for the second shot on 10 and drives on 15 and 16.
Great Day
Only three problems 1. 12th hole hit a drive down the left of the fairway I thought was very good got down there and my ball was in a big hole. It looked like it had been a bolder removed and the impression was left. I took a free drop as this was just a little off the fairway into the short ruff. 2. I don't like loud noises while out golfing and on #12 and 13 fairway's there was a mower going up and down the fairway in fact he was mowing on 12 while I was hitting until I was on the green then moved to 13 and was mowing on 13 while I was hitting. Now to his credit he did throttle down and stop while I hit but he could have waited on 12 until I hit on 13. 3. I see that the course is flatting the tee boxes on the front which is great and I hope they do it to the back as well as it is greatly needed. With that being said the course was in great shape the greens are a real pleasure to put on, not to fast not to slow like a plush carpet. That's what I like about this course it is out in nature no loud obtrusive noises except geese and the occasional dog barking and yet there are some nice homes that blend into the woods I really enjoy playing here and I believe the course has a handle on what improvement's it will take to make this a very enjoyable course to play at a great price, not that it isn't all ready. I can only hope that it stays on the Golf Now list.
Wonderful late season condition
Greens and fairways were in great shape. Sad that the season is ending and snow is on the way. Thanks for a great round.
Great Lake Course
Priest Lake Golf Course is a very scenic fun golf experience. Love it.
Goods people
This course is a nice well groomed facility..The course is a resort course thats open to the public. The pace of play was kinda slow.. The owner and his are gooe people.. they are so good of people i am goimg back tomorrow..
Awesome condition
Went on a Saturday, course was pretty wide open. VERY good condition the greens we’re basically flawless. Staff was extremely friendly we had 8 of us for a bachelor party they accommodated us nicely. Couple uneven tee boxes but other than that it’s worth every penny.
Country Course
This was an unexpected jewel. The course was in very good shape, fairways excellent, greens were true. Front nine was in a valley the back was in upland areas with lots of forced carries. Very interesting layout.
The course is in great shape and very challenging
We had a great time, the staff was so very helpfull, and the course was in excellent condition. Thanks for the great time..
Hot day but fun.
Walked the entire course very hot day, it was nice to get under some shade around the course (94 degrees) would not recommend walking in that heat but had a good game going did not want to change my pace by taking a cart on the back nine, and I'm glad didn't as my game improved except for par 3 hole 17 shot a 4 which is not bad but it's how I shot it. A 8 iron hit fat off to the right side, a uphill lie in a little depression, chip shot that was short just off the green, another chip three feet past the flag and a put in. Last hole a great par on the par 5, 18 hole two good hits a pitching wedge on the green 15 foot put almost went in and a one footer for par. have to love those good days of golf and forget the bad days along with the bad holes.
Priest Lake
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. If you can’t carry 200 yards off the tee then don’t play the blue tees. Target course off the tee, easy to hit through the fairway if you aren’t playing to the 150 fairway pole. Your driving accuracy will definitely be tested. Fairways are patchy but lies are usually good. Greens hold well and run relatively smooth. I would definitely play here again.
Fun
A wonderful surprise to find this course in the N Idaho woods
Great course
This course is beautiful to put it simply. Conditions were excellent. Price was right. Staff was great. Couldn’t have been more pleased. Make sure to bring bug spray and a swim suit for a dip in the lake after.
Tough course
I played poorly today but I will play it again and again. Fun course.
Priest Lake
Wonderful. Course in great shape. Fun and challenging especially the back 9. Beautiful country.
Nice course
Course was in great condition for early in season. Very view mosquitoes, which surprised me!
Good value with Golf Now
Course is in good condition for Northern Idaho. Greens have considerable contouring and require a deft touch and knowledge of speed. Requires careful shot placement in a number of holes particularly in the newer back 9.
Choices
Lots of challenging decisions on club selection...risk vs reward... and some narrow avenues to navigate
Enjoyed the day.
Not much to say, slow start was stuck behind foursome first five holes but was not in hurry so ok. Played through was open the rest of the round. Bring bug spray as you are around a lot of water. Need I say more (deep woods off or something similar). All in all great day.
