Cart Not Included
Booked with Hot Deal which is supposed to include carts, when we got there, the staff told us the cart is not guaranteed. Not very friendly. Gave us a hard time with tee time. Note that if u book directly on there website, the green fee is only $12.
Go to a different course!
Nothing will make up for the incredibly rude staff from the ranger to the pro shop. Go spend your money somewhere else.
Great course for walking.
this is a good course to enjoy a walk and loosen up. Nothing to challenge the more serious golfers, except the 5th hole which challenges you to cut the corner and try for a birdie. Three par 3s give you a chance to test your precision, and help speed the pace of play.
Nice exec course
Boughton is one of my main courses since I live nearby. I've played 6 nearby exec courses this year. I would rate Boughton as 2nd, after Flagg Creek. I prefer Flagg Creek due to the longer par 4s and a par 5, but Boughton's greens are a more fair test and its short par 4s have fun challenging features. Today was very slow play, and course soggy, which led to some of my ratings. But overall Boughton is a great course if you like exec length.
Golf now failed me!
I was very disappointed that my buddy booked us a teatime for 1130 today and we get to the course and find out that Golf now has been over booking for this particular course and they sent us away and we were not able to play at our 1130 teatime. I booked an 11:15 AM teatime and it was for two other guys who wanted to join us 15 minutes apart. They were able to play and we
Cart included means riding cart
Dont have a price with Cart included and then hand me a pull cart.
Winter golf
My review is solely based on the condition of the course at the time of play, 12/27/2019. If you have played this course you know that it is a very short course, even from the blue tee box. They are doing some course renovations on a couple of holes, guessing drainage. For the price and pace of play (I was the only one on the course) could not have been any better. I also do not putt out due to the aerated greens and goose poop. The staff could not have been any more friendly and accommodating even for a later tee time.
Greens were still bumpy from late fall aeration, possibly due to all the rain.
Great little course
The staff are friendly and provide great service. The course is well maintained and plays well.
Pro golf
This place plays so short that will make you feel like a championship golfer
A friendly neighborhood course
This is a short 9 hole course, not to dificult for the novice golfer, but with enough challenges on a few holes to keep it interesting, very walkable as well if you chose to. #1 challeges a little with the creek right off the tee, so if you're new to golf, or still not confident with a driver, use a lofted club instead of the driver to be sure you get it in the air.
If you cleared the creek on #1, think about the same club on #5, if you didn't, consider driving over the bridge to the red tees to keep it fun. Nice practice green, but no driving range.
Staff is friendly and welcoming, and truly concerned that you and everyone on the course enjoys their round!
Fun to play for all levels
Greens are still a little bumpy from last years aeration but better then in May. Bunkers need work probably has to do with the flooding rains since March.
Unkept and weedy
Would it kill you to cut the grass? Where’s the fairway straight and the rough begin? These were just a few of the questions my brother and I were asking ourselves shortly after arriving. Come to find out the hot deal was most likely offered due to the greens had just been aerated! Very poor conditions overall so I guess it was best we got rained out after just 4 holes. Will not be back.
