The course itself was ok. Unfortunately, I had the greens keepers following me on every hole. They mowed greens while I was putting. If this wasn’t bad enough, the greens had just been aerated and filled with sand and the mower blew sand at me WHILE I WAS PUTTING!! I also had to tee off twice without a pin in place. I couldn’t tell where the hole was on the green! I try not to bash anything but felt I had to relay my experience here. I let the course manager know about my experience and he said it has been an ongoing problem with the contracted landscapers. Too bad, it’s a fairly nice 9 hole course.
Fun Executive 9 hole
Played 2 rounds of 9 today. $16 plus $5 for a walking cart, and $9 to replay. Did first 9 taking my sweet time and played it in 1h30min. 2nd round had a couple slower groups in front took a couple minutes over 2hr. My solo round eventually ended as a four-some since we all started waiting together we figured we may as well play together as well.
Pro shop staff were awesome, course was well kept and very playable. Course was a bit easier than I would have liked, but I knew that going in. No par 5's on the course and it pars at 32 for 9 holes.
Overall a very enjoyable course that i wouldn't hesitate to play again at. Could use a driving range or warm up area, but that's about the only negative thing I can say about that.
The bar had a decent selection of craft beer on tap and the club sandwich was very good. Again great staff, very personable and fun.
Would and will play again. Course is great for seniors as it has shorter holes and only 9 holes.
9-Hole
First time playing this course. Staff was friendly. Course laid out nicely did have difficulty figuring out the 6th hole of where to tee off but other players helps out and we wer back on our game. Would golf here again.
Great Golf Day
Course very well kept, nice staff, great place for a quick 9, will definitely be back
Nice 9
It's a great 9. The amenities are perfect with ball and club washers at each hole. The staff could not have been friendlier. Pace of work lay was fine for a Friday.
Decent for a quick round. Good irons course
Played on a weekend. Decent pace of play. Greens in good shap. The fairway lacked discernible cuts. Drop zones were not maintained. A short executive course that provides adequate challenge. I caught this on a hot deal. Well worth the price.
Great for the $$$
Had an early start one Saturday morning. Had to wait on the short par 3 seconds hole but after that everything went smooth. I would play there again
Golf
It was a nice course and I will play there again the food in the restaurant was very good the bar tender/ waitress was a bit slow but she covered the bar and the room by her self
Nice little 9 hole executive-length course
First time played here. Conditions were really pretty good. Especially in view of the past few weeks weather and conditions observed on other courses in the area (which are not very good). A couple greens showed some distress. Sporty but short layout will not challenge long hitters. Really ideal for seniors and junior players - but not necessarily beginners/duffers as the layout offers challenges with severe doglegs, sand, tight launch areas etc. Fun little course!
Boughton Ridge
For the money it is a very well kept course. Although it is not very long you still can use your driver on half of the course. It has water to challenge you and sand traps as well. For above average golfers it's a good practice round and for beginners it is an excellent course.
this course has laid back friendly players
I joined two other players and we had a great time. All the people we met were very friendly the golfers and the staff .I have played here before with my 8 year old grandson and everyone was very understanding and nice. Different from other courses where everyone is in a hurry and rude.
A nice ride
My wife and I enjoyed this course. Friendly staff, well kept by polite employees. We will be back to play again.
Indian Summer afternoon
#1 It doesn't hurt when it is high 70's and sunny in October in Chicago-land. #2 the chance to play 9 with my 11 year old daughter was a blessing. #3 course was terrific for us, real nice conditions, hadn't played there in maybe 10 years (basically only because BR is an executive 9 hole course) I will be back the course is in much better shape than I remember years ago. #4 Could not believe the rate I got thru GolfNow (you can't find a better discount!) Boughton Ridge is a nice course will be back with my daughter next spring for sure.
Great small xourse
Nice distances. Some longer holes. In great shape. Better than a typical
Par 3. It's a par 32
