Great Value
As a 20 year member when it was a private club I was impressed with how the course was in such good shape. I’ve played it previously & it was I. rough shape. Now it is a great $50 golf course

Really good course, really poor management
Second time playing the course this year. There was a young man at the cash register. He was the only one from the course that was within 500 yards of the first tee. People milled about the practice green, no one teed off for a half hour. Our group finally started asking who was up. Guess we should have just cut the line and went to the first tee, we were actually the 4th group in line.
Course was in great shape. Greens true and well maintained. Bunkers, tees and fairways were all very good. Played in under four hours. Just not sure how the course can’t pay an old guy, like me, to have some organization off the first tee.
Thank you for the feedback. We just don't believe in treating our golfers like cattle and herding them like they are. Just a difference in philosophy. You look at the watch and if it is your tee time you move up to the first tee and tee off. We had 200 golfers today and you played under 4 hours and you did not get treated like you would needed to be herded. Why the negative feedback. You call it organization - I call it herding cattle and our golfers are anything but that. We do manage pace of play when golfers get behind without being intrusive. We look forward to seeing you back at the course and enjoying your round without being managed.
Turnberry in good shape
This was the 2nd time playing Turnberry. I have played it on the weekend for $69 and it is not worth that price. Today i played it midweek early morning with cart for $38 which is a great price. Its funny how the price alone makes you like or dislike a golf course. I remember the first time playing it i did not want to come back. Gave it another shot and for the $38 price tag it was worth it. The course was in great shape. the greens were pretty quick but mostly due to lack of rain recently.
Thank you for the positive review. So many things that will impact how you feel about the course starting with the price, how many balls you lose during your round, and the final score. We are happy to see that you found a price point that you can try Turnberry for. It ranges from $25 for 18 with cart to $69 for 18 with cart. It is the same course that you get to play - the price varies on account of the demand from golfers. prime time on Weekdays and Weekends are higher. We look forward to seeing you on the course again.
We are sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy your round of golf with us. We try our best every time sometimes we fail to impress.
Decent course
Greens have average speed and rolling pretty good. Some fairways are in better shape than others. The fw are pretty open, there's a lot of bunkers though. Played from whites but didn't feel it's a 135 slope rating like it says on the score scorecard. Overall, it's good course and would go back.

Don’t bother
I am not one to bad mouth anything, but this is one of the worst courses I have played in long time. Poorly kept. Crowned tees. On some tee boxes I saw more mud than grass. Terrible condition. Probably won’t be back.
