Willow Crest Golf Club

I was impressed by the routing and the conditioning of the course with the exception of the bunkers. The bunkers were not ready for play and I’m not quite sure why... The greens were rolling really fast, but it was a fun challenge. Nice resort golf course.

A really nice first time out this year (Carrying my bag and all). Course was in good shape, with a fair amount of up and down. Not all that difficult, but then I was with my girlfriend and we didn’t keep score.

Limit to twosomes every 15 minutes makes it quite nice actually.

Will be even nicer when the trees have their full leaves.

6 par 3's for a par 70 shorten the course a little so the scorecard can be deceiving. Playing the back tees make it extra challenging and long especially the par 5s. Great course to play and an amazing staff that treat it like a true resort.

Only downsides are the bunkers, not much sand. Otherwise a great experience and would continue to play.

Nice tree lined course. It may not be long, but it’s tight. Fast greens. A course I’d play again when it’s a hot deal.

Cart path only after heavy rains day before, understandable. A threesome of elderly women 2 groups ahead of us led to an almost 6 hour round which made for an unbearably long back 9.

Ranger was aware of the situation but did nothing about it. If I would’ve paid $80 for this round I would’ve been furious, got a deal on golfnow for half off so I can’t really complain too much.

Staff was great. Course was beautiful. Would be hesitant to return after the marathon today.

I have not played the course but know this— protective netting that leads to a major thoroughfare and residences are in disrepair with gaping holes. If you hit the ball through and it hits a car or a person you, the golfer are responsible for law suits. Know this now. There are a dozen courses in the area- choose another.

From start to finish experience was awesome. Starters greeting was very professional. I felt as if I was at a private country club. Course was difficult greens challenging but doable and fun.

Needed an early tee time. This course fit the bill

Course was in excellent condition even though there had been heavy rains the day before. Layout of the course was perfect for beginner and intermediate golf players. Would play there again.

Awesome track and very reasonably priced for quality of the course.

The pace here is horrible and the price outrageous

Everyone from the starter to staff was outstanding and so very Nice-thank you! I played this course years ago when it was a Marriott resort and forgot about all the rolling hills. It was a great pace of play and hard to get it through the thicker grass, but understand with all the past rain we have had. It was an awesome golf experience and look forward to coming back soon! Thank you!

TLDR: A nice course, nothing terribly special, really well kept by the grounds crew, apparently attracts the slowest players in the world and there were no rangers to tell people to move along.

The last time I played this course was about 16 years ago so it was nice to revisit. That being said, the weather turned out to be 50 degrees and drizzled on and off all round. The course was in really good shape considering the amount of rain we have received over the last few weeks, so kudos to the grounds crew. The staff were all really friendly and attentive. This is technically a Hilton resort course so I don’t know if that has anything to do with the clientele but my goodness were there some slow people out there. We were stacked up behind 5 foursomes of people who were hacking it all over the hole from tee to green and then taking 10+ minutes to putt out. It was most frustrating because there were no rangers to enforce any pace of play rules. I don’t think I will be going back anytime soon because the course is just average in terms of layout and difficulty but really well maintained. The price is a little much for what it is.

We unfortunately we’re placed behind a regular drop of players that were ridiculous slow. They had a :45 minute head start and we caught them on hole 6. Last 3 holes took over an hour. We stopped playing after 9 holes due to no rangers passing this group to pick up pace of play. Course was nice enough to refund our money, but please make sure in the future this regular group speeds up there play. It was ridiculous how slow they played. I will not go back on a Saturday morning round.

Overall the course is excellent! the staff is professional. The condition is good, and the course layout is challenging. Very fun to play this course and highly recommend this to golfing lovers.
