Oak Brook Golf Club

This is one of my favorite courses. You meet a variety of people. They just come out to play and enjoy the course.

Greens rolling true not many ball marks.

Some pin placements unfair.

Packing them in. Almost 5 hour round. Prices are up, no senior discount on Fridays anymore and the pace is very slow. Nice course, well kept but I’d have a hard time recommending to friends.

It took 5 hours to play because two foursomes who were playing some sort of match backed up the course. At one point, There were four foursomes jammed together.

The Ranger was not helpful. He did talk to the two groups, but they ignored him. The greens fees were high and we definitely did not get our money's worth.

I will not play this course again.

Good golf course in good shape with tough greens and good challenging holes some with water on either side. Teeing off in most holes reasonable and in some trees can get in the way. Rough often creates issues due to height and sand traps normal for average course. Pace play could be improved and staff overall does a very job.

Overall pricing very reasonable especially for retirees. I would recommend course I play often and find the people very friendly.

We have not played this course in a long time, but came back last season (great course, but we had to play with two people who were very drunk, so that was not great). This time day/golf conditions were great and we really enjoyed it. Food was good and reasonably priced. I think practice buckets are too small for the price. Also, pro shop staff (older gentleman) was not friendly and not helpful. That was the only really disappointing part of the day.

I Play Oakbrook golf course weekly, cost is reasonable, course ihas enough challenge, and course is normally in good shape overall. The issues might be slow play at times and rough is way too long. Seems when ever I play their cutting grass but the rough is long and tough to hit out of. Overall I rate the course a solid 4 and would recommend for casual and higher level golfer. Food is very good and very reasonable in price.

20 minutes late to tee off. Close to a 5 hour round- Im not sure what the answer is but at this time of the year it should be easy to finish 18 when you have a 3:20 start. We barely got the last hole in. This suvey asks if I would recommend the course- location is key- range is great. I would be honest and tell them its going to be a slow round and let them decide.

This course is decent. Decent shape, decent staff, decent clubhouse. But the pace of play is HORRIFIC. Almost 3 hours to get through 9 holes. Some people left before their round even started because the course was so backed up. We only played 3 holes on the back 9 before we got fed up and just left Honestly, at this price point, they need to space out tee times more or have a marshall out there enforcing pace.

6 guys playing in front of us for a large chunk of the round. Did not see a ranger accept at the first tee. Beautiful day and horribly disappointing. They need to do better. I will never play there again .

Jammed wayyy too many people on the course. 5.5 hours meant there was zero enjoyment of a nice Saturday afternoon
