Indian boundary’s greens are surprisingly better
I’d honestly rather play boundary for half the price with better conditions at the moment! I’ll come back but greens and fairways better be manicured more.
Fun greens
Very nice course and in good condition. Very challenging but fun greens. Will be back!!
5-hour round
We experienced a 5-hour round due to a 90-min frost delay, an inebriated foursome in front of us, and an untrained (but friendly) cart lady who served in the middle of fairways rather than greens or tee boxes. You can do better.
Great course with some flaws
Very fun yet challenging course.
Course layout is unique.
Got 1 complaint and major 1 problem, they place all the flag in a near impossible lie making putting frustrated . Pace of play is just horrible, whole round took us 5 hrs. The group in front were extremely slow and rangers just casually driving around didn’t do anything to help speed up the pace.
Exceptional public golf course
In an upscale Chicago suburb, Oak Brook GC is a well maintained,challenging golf course It has 7 dogleg holes, a number of water holes and greens that are extremely challenging. A great layout. Every round is really different, and I never tire of playing the course. It also has an excellent, well maintained driving range.
The staff is capable and friendly. The club house is very nice for a public course. And the independently operated restaurant is first rate, with a large menu and indoor and outdoor seating. There are servers to take your orders and bring your food promptly.
I have been a member of the club for 11 years and have been very happy there. I was formerly a member of a relatively pricey private club, and I have found Oak Brook to be a desirable alternative at a fraction of the cost of my former private club.
wet and windy, course in good shape. But due to wet, was sloppy.
Meh
It’s a nice track but expect to be talked down to and belittled. Also expect to be threatened to be kicked off if they think you’re playing a little slow which is couple minutes under pace.
