The head pro is awesome
The head pro is a great guy. Always quick to say hi. Always willing to give a couple pointers. It’s things like that, that keep me coming back
Home course
Love this course, great layouts sand traps and trees in play on most holes. Back nine is more picturesque and harder. Well maintained and usually in great shape.
Play where the Strapped boys played
I chose to play the course because I was Strapped. Course was packed, even on a cold, windy day in late Nov. There were biker gangs of old people everywhere. Okay, that was a just a joke. But it was crowded, and slow. Greens were also slow. Bumpy too. But that's probably due to the season. Front 9 is a snooze. Back 9 is pretty tricky though, with multiple hidden hazards. Some better topography on the back. At least I played better than Icarito.
Great track
Always a tough track dog legs, trees traps fairways r fair. Greens r perfect n roll great. Always fun here
another fine round
Course was in decent shape. Greens were true despite a couple of damaged spots. I give it a B based on the fact COVID-19 has dealt the park district a blow financially.
Horrible conditions
Course was in horrible shape. Tree crews on holes with huge pile of trees down on fairways. Course allowed 4 groups of 4 off back to back. Waited 45 minutes each hole. NEVER AGAIN
Great for the price
Really user friendly course. My wife is relatively new to golf and it’s nice that the whole course is mowed a length friendly to mid to high handicappers.
