Nice layout awful shape.
The tee boxes are all sand. Greens have bad (skunk?) damage. Just not in good shape right now.
Needs a bit of love.
The greens were in great shape. With the lack of rain and intense heat the fairways need some water. Definitely needs some work on the bunkers and tee boxes, but this course layout is amazing. If we get some rain it will be back to one of the best around. Hope that happens soon cause the course is amazing when in good shape.
Burnt up
The fairways were burnt and brown and hard definitely not watered worst I’ve ever seen it. The pond on first hole was full of dying and dead fish don’t know why but was very inhuman sad
Course is dead. Had way to many players booked, a group of 6 was holding up the whole course. Took 4:30 hours to play 18.
Ironhorse
Very open course but if it’s hot there is no cover with Trees
Great course for the price
This course is wide open for players who like the open air and does not destroy you if you don't hit perfectly straight. No trees on the fairways, but there is water to lose your ball into. Greens are large in size and are well groomed for a public course. Use a golf website to set a tee time and play here at great prices!
Nice course
The course was in great shape except for the bunkers, they were not maintained. Other than that it was great.
Best value
Can't beat the deal. Great value on a weekday, will play here again for sure
Great course design
Well designed course. Plenty of terrain, water, and sand. Course in good condition given time of year. Pace was OK, but not great.
Weekend pace of play
This is a nice course which is why it is busy; especially on weekends or holidays. Why is it anyone with 3 clubs in a bag think they should drink and play golf. One twosome in front had a guy hit 6 balls off a tee until he was happy with the result. It was wet from rain so it was cart paty only which slowed it down further. By the 14th I had enough and as I made my way back to the parking lot I passed 6 or 7 foursomes all backed up on the last 4 holes.
Slow play
Monday is a great deal for golf here, but that backs things up on the course. When it get s that slow, people seem too play even slower. On a busy day, the course should have someone monitoring slower groups and people should play ready golf and/or let faster groups play through. Great course and in good condition with friendly staff.
Great value & pace
Impressive design with great pace, 3 some took 3 hours with carts. Greens in great shape, some limited play due to recent flooding.
