Blue at University of Illinois Golf Course

If you’re looking for a laid-back, affordable golf course where retired frat boys, U of I (ILLINI) alumni, and international college students can all enjoy a round, this is your place. Several par 5s will challenge even experienced golfers. Bring extra balls if you struggle to stay on the fairway—once they land in the rough, you probably aren’t finding them! The pro shop attendant was cool, and the bartender/cook looked nice too. Great place to watch a ILLINI game and have some bar food. Overall, it’s a fun course at a good price.

Tees to green the course was in very good shape. Coming from myrtle beach the greens simple a little slower than back home. But that is an adjustment. Will have to try this course again

Ok course. I liked it alright, but a low handicap golfer would find it boring. It is a good value however. It is better than several of the other local courses in that are in that price range.

The course is in need of a lot of work. The fairways were good in spots but showed brown spots and actually bare in others. It was the same for the Greens especially the fringe. Paying $43 for a round of 18 on a course that was at best fair. The course layout was good which is what made the course fair.

59 years old, been playing for 50 years. Worst course ever, condition are horrible, don't waist your money.

While the tees were in good condition many of the greens and fringe areas were browning and bare of grass. Pin placements were mostly challenging but fair to most skill levels. Bu they were slightly inconsistent in that some greens ran while others were slow due the condition of the grass, The fairways were for the most part were in good condition some holes also showed signs of browning and bare spots.

The greens and tee boxes were in horrible shape. We had just received a bunch of rain the past week and everything was still as hard as a rock! The cart paths are almost unusable because they beat you to death with pot holes and huge cracks.

First time playing the University of Illinois Boy Course. Nothing really wrong with the course, just nothing outstanding about the course. I was expecting more of a course with the U of I name attached. The layout was flat and very straight forward. The greens were very small with not much slope. Again, nothing was wrong with the course but it was more like a muni than a Uni.

Excellent course for beginners and mid handicappers as well. The course was in excellent shape. There are 4 sets of tees to choose from so everyone can play where they are most comfortable. The greens rolled true. They weren't crazy fast but they do have some contours to make it challenging. Overall great value and we will be back again.
