Very expensive for not a great course
it was 25$ for 9 holes and did not blow me out of the water
Friday Morning Round
There were two of us and we went off at 6:20AM. The group ahead of us started at 6:10 and we never saw them. Grounds were in great shape; greens were a little damp early but fast and true. The condition of the course was excellent and the man in the Clubhouse was terrific.

No help
We had a foursome at 430 after work on Friday. That morning one of the four tested positive for Covid and couldn’t join us. When calling the number no one ever answer and you are only given and option to leave - message. I was just looking to get a rain check for 9 holes at a later date. Instead they said no refund or rain check as “ we could have sold this spot”. You think some random person would want to hold Friday at 430 with three random guys they never met? Very sad about the response from front desk and would like them to reconsider on the rain check otherwise my friends and I will not be back.

Good conditions BUT deep rough
Nice nine hole layout (more than a par three course), good fairway and greens but beware of very deep rough that can help you to lose balls if you don’t really follow your shot. Played at a pretty fast pace and other golfers were gracious about letting a single play through. Definitely like the course esp. for the first round of the year!
Where are the pull carts???
We had planned to walk the course and needed to rent pull carts. There were none so we were forced to rent gas carts. Why offer a walking rate? Or at least tell people they need to bring their own pull cart.
I've always enjoyed this course but felt we had no choice.
Gas carts ripped up the course pretty bad Sunday.
Sugar Creek May 2022
A very windy day and the course was still a bit wet from rain two days previous. Tees, fairways and greens were all in good shape. Having played here several times, the pace of play was very good today, I usually expect nearly 3 hours due to difficult greens (most players 3 or 4 putt), today it was 2 hours and putting was reasonable.
