Great course!
Hidden gem. Always a fun course to play. Nice staff and friendly interactions with several other golfers. Refreshing change.
Wondeful Condition
With the hot, dry, summer, we were surprised how green things were. Greens in really nice shape.. as well
Fun course!
Nice course! Some short par 4’s but they require some good tee shots .. so they’re challenging! Price was very reasonable, especially for seniors. Looking forward to playing here again.
Fun little course
course is in great shape but they need to put rakes back out for the bunkers. They used to have the best bunkers around but like everyone else, they removed rakes and are not maintaining their bunkers so they're hard packed.. it's time to put the rakes back like other courses and go back to working the bunkers like they used to. Other than that, it's one of my favorite courses to play.
Good Fun Course to Score on
I played solo and played in about 2.5 hours. The greens were excellent and the course has a lot of fun holes. Has a few table top greens and some funnel type greens.
Fun course
This is a fun, challenging course that has a little bit of everything. Given the weather, the course was in pretty good shape. The staff is extremely friendly. Overall great experience.
Golfer
Beautiful and well maintained golf course. The countryside scenery around several of the courses holes were mesmerizing to the sight, my wife and I stopped for a few moments to enjoy the view.
Fun round of golf
Enjoyed playing Heron Creek, I have played it many times over the years. Tees well groomed, fairways in good shape and greens putted smoothly and true. It is a fair course with some straight holes as well as some dog legs both left and right. Most holes can be reached in regulation with chance for some birds. A bogie golfer can really enjoy this course. I will continue to play it and recommend it.
Heron Creek for the first time
Two in the foursome golfed here for the first time. Normally they don’t travel this far to golf, but both expressed an interest in golfing here again.
Extra golf
Because of the hot deal I was able to get some golfing buddies to travel farther and golf an extra round this week. The course did not disappoint. Great layout, great condition.
Fun Place
It has been several years since I have played this course. I see some very nice changes since I have been there last. A few spotty areas on the Greens, but they should not come into play for anyone. Looks like a nice junior clinic was there when we arrived.. This is a good thing. We did loose a Tiger head cover, so if any one found it, please turn in to the course.. thanks
Nice Surprise
This was a nice find on Golf Now. Was looking for a course in between Middlebury and Ft Wayne and was pleasantly surprised with Heron Creek. Course was in nice shape and layout is great for someone with a fade, like me! After a group that had no business on the black tees let us through on #4 we never waited on anyone. The lady in the pro shop was really nice. Very pleased.
Fun course
I always have fun at this course, conditions are outstanding! Pace of play is fast, one of my favorite courses, glad they are back on golf now.com
Never a boring hole!
Always a fun place to play. The course was in great shape and the staff were beyond courteous. Would definitely recommend this hidden gem.
