Village Greens of Woodridge

Played right after an outing came of the course so there was nobody around. Greens were rolling smooth. Fairways were good. Rough was a bit long in spots by challenging.

Enjoyed my round. Greens were rolling well for early in the season. Would recommend this course.

Course is not what it used to be. Played here last in July of 2015. They let this place go. We had a 4 some for $37.00 per person on a Sunday morning. Course conditions are really bad. Lots of dead grass and mud you are playing off of. Greens had brown spots of dead grass and around water, lots of dead grass and mud. Especially hole 14. This course is not worth $37.00. It should be 25 bucks daily for all times. If you golf here, don't have high expectations. It could be such a nice course if it was maintained. Overall, I feel it is overpriced for what you get.

Greens were awesome. They just got done hosting a couple of large tournaments and the greens were fast and smooth. For $35, it was like putting on country club greens. There was a league out in the morning that slowed us down on the back nine, but still finished in 4 hours 20 minutes. Ranger was out pushing groups along.

For early in the season, the course was in good shape. Packed course but the rangers kept things moving...nice to have rangers so early in the year...most courses don’t. Staff is always friendly. Can’t wait to play again.

Course is in Terrible condition. Thought after the horrible condition last year it would be better. Played this course for 10 years... will never go back

This a good golf course but lately has not been maintained The staff is courteous and it I can be my money’s worth if they maintain greens and blow away the leaves .

I have been playing at this course since I was a freshmen in High School. So 12 years ago. This was the first time I played this course this season. And I must say I was absolutely disappointed. Other then the greens being in ok condition everything else was terrible. The tee boxes look like they hadn’t been cut in weeks. They were as long as the rough on some areas. The fairways were long. Many dead spots. Many areas where it looked like it was dug up and left. Overall the course looked as if they did no maintenance to it all year. For $40 I expect much more, especially when I know this course can be in better condition. I hope they do a better job next season. Otherwise I will never play this course again.

I dont know what happened to this place, it used to be a decent Muni course. I have never hit off tee boxes this bad before.

Have played this course a few times and not one of my favorite courses. The course was not in the best shape, even though there had not been rain, the course obviously had been watered too much and some fairways and greens for the first nine were really wet. Several fairways and areas around the green had pellets of mud or something black all over which made it difficult to hit the ball and several sand traps were filled with water or with wet sand. Although the pace of play was fast the conditions of the course made the round not that enjoyable. Some tee boxes were not mowed that it was like driving out of the rough.

Decent track , great value for your buck ! Staff is very friendly and easygoing!!!!

- no maintenance & a lot of bare spot, horrible tee box, dying grasses

- extremely busy due to completely beginner, but no ranger control

I have played here 100 times... I have never seen the course in such bad shape. Wouldn't play again this year which I normally do all Fall.
