Great value
The course is in really good condition, even with the lack of rain this summer/fall.
My only complaint is the lack of sand in the bunkers, but i have found this is a growing trend in municipal courses.
The staff and ground crew are always very friendly and i think it’s probably one the best municipal courses in this part of the state.
Don't waste your time here
The course is over run with people. They do not regulate how many golfers they allow on the course. It took over 2.5 hours to complete 9 holes and I gave up. I saw multiple groups of 5 (or more) playing and most people there didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. The course is cheep to play but not worth the $22 they charge to play.
Not a place for beginners on Sunday mornings
Born and raised in Crawfordsville. Love the golf course but no ranger and folks simply have no course etiquette. We can be on 9 green and a group will tee off on 10. We will never go out again on a Sunday morning. Driving range is great, that is where folks learn to golf. Yesterday a group of two had 5 groups backed up on the front.

Great Staff!
The staff was very nice and let us play our 9 holes that we paid for even after they’re were closing up. Thank you!

Pushy staff
Schedule a later tee time but still not the last available only to be told over and over again we had to be by 830 no matter what.
Crawfordsville
Good course. Back 9 does not have a cart path. Struggled to find which hole was where. Good time for the price.
Great Day of Early March Golf
Challenging, picturesque, open course (not surrounded by houses; just trees, creek, & ponds.) Great shape for early March. Very friendly staff. The course was full of golfers, but pace of play great. Well worth the trip. Highly recommend.
Solid Muni
Solid municipal course. Gary Kern’s work eliminated almost all of the Bill Diddel’s work which is sad! There are several holes on the back 9 that still have some of his work as well as an abandoned hole that is not part of driving range.
Course uses land well and traverses over several creeks and flood plains to provide character. It is worth the play if in the area.
Thanks for the great rating! We hope to have you back at Crawfordsville Municipal Golf Course again sometime soon.
