Ranger?
Anytime I see a group of 6 on three carts, with 2 people playing out of one bag on a fairly busy day…..what can you say?
First time for my daughter
My daughter recently started dating a golfer so I gotr her some clubs and took out for nine. Good time had by all and even saw an eagle get a fish out of a pond while waiting on a tee.
Course condition
For being the last day of March, the course was in wonderful condition.
Fun course to work on your game
I play Saddlebrook a couple times every season and it never disappoints. Great bang for your buck, where the course isn’t too difficult, and greens keepers do not try and make it overly difficult with gimmicky tricks. Staff always extremely friendly, and the pace of play is always good. I like coming out here early in season and working on the game a little bit before hitting longer, more difficult courses. Looking for a fairly priced course to have some fun, where things won’t be too uptight, then Saddlebrook is your spot
Early Spring
Horses usually in decent shape greens were really good shape. It was early spring, so it still showed signs of dimming from aeration and hadn’t been mowed and rolled many times yet. Good for the time of the year it was.
Great Course, Great Price
I was surprised at how good of condition the course was in being so early in the year. Green were a bit slow, although expected. Fair amount of goose droppings pretty much everywhere. But overall, great shape for this time of year. Tyler at the counter was super nice, too.
Great course layout was nice, greens in great shape
Liked it first time playing it, the management was extremely c professional and courteous, will play it again for sure!
Terribly maintained
This course is the equivalent of playing golf in Gaza. If you don’t hit the fair way You will bounce 50 yards away. Needs sprinklers and maintenance workers. Will not be back
Hidden Gem that needs to be polished
Saddlebrook Golf course is a tight course that offers some challenges. The course is well cared for - except the greens are full of divots that have not been repaired. We used a golf cart, but this would be an excellent walking course if one can avoid the hazards.
it was ok
price was great. tee boxes are terrible with dirt and crabgrass. and 100 broken tees on each box. greens & fairways were good.
The course was fairly well maintained just some small areas that was in need of repair. I really like the course overall.
Average
The rough is in bad condition. The fairway is a little better and the greens are pretty decent. Lots of bare spots. The value is not there. It should cost half as much and then I would say it's worth it.
