Public course
This course is what it is, a decent public course. It gets some really bad golfers, so be prepared to wait each shot. The course was really wet today, but decent track to go out and take the wife to.
Pretty decent course. Some wide open holes for grip and rip and some that force club selection. 2 tee boxes are in pretty bad shape (lots of weeds) but most kept up well. Greens are some of the better I’ve seen. I usually tee off here before 6am because it tends to get slow on the weekends
Grossly Overpriced Even for Hot Deal Time
Must be the Covid, paid $50.00 to play a six hour round on a mediocre course. The Hot Deal rate of $35.00 is three times higher than it was last year.
I’ll never play there again at the current rates. Ripoff.
Not worth the money
I’ve played a handful of gold the last 4 weeks in Indiana since Illinois is on lockdown. This was the least favorite course that I have set foot on. It was almost the most expensive. Rough was worse then my backyard grass which is floooded currently. Fairways weren’t cut at all. The only enjoyable part of the course was the greens and the staff. Too many other courses within a few minutes drive that are much better conditioned and for half the price. It’s a lesson learned for sure.
Very slow
The course was set up for walking only but the staff kept the tee times at usual 7-8 minute intervals causing backup and extremely slow play
COURSE WAS CLOSED DUE TO SANDING AND AIRRATING THE GREENS,DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO GO HOME AND CANCELL MY TEE TIME 1 HOUR BEFORE,DID NOT GET MY MONEY BACK,SO DISSAPOINTED
Great Staff Great Course
John, Kim and Steve are very customer focused, good people who want to ensure you have a good golf experience.
Course is in great shape, even with the aerated greens!
Decent golf course
Maintenance of the course is average. It plays well for all skill levels. It has a range for practice.
Overall you get what you pay for. Decent rates for a decent golf course
