This course is a hidden treasure with a fun layout, great conditions and a great staff.
Amazing greens and a lot of opportunities to hit a wayward shot
Greens taking a beating.
Course in good shape, but lots of ball Mark's on the greens. Golfers not taking the time to repair.

Course in great shape and in clean condition. No garbage, sticks, leaves or dead grass laying around. Looks great.
Scherwood Golf - A pleasant course
The course was in fine shape. The greens can be a challenge as they were cut to pool table like and therefore very fast, so you better have a light touch putting or you will watch your ball keep going. The course has a nice set up and trees are likely to be your landing spot at times if you are a heavy hooker or slicer, but many holes are also forgiving. The owner Marv is a laid back pleasant man and has had this course in good shape for decades. You can also buy clubs and Marv will fit them to you capably.
Great Place to Golf
Great people here, friendly, very accommodating, the course is clean from the winter, no leaves, greens are coming along , they’ll be firm and fast in a couple months, weather is cold and wet but at least we’re golfing and we dont have to take 5 hours to play 18!
Great Leaf Control
All things considered, the course was in great shape for mid-December. Of course it was damp and cool, buy hey, I'm playing golf in NW Indiana in mid-December, so how can I complain? I never once had to look for a ball due to leaves, which speaks volumes about the amount of effort spent on taking care of the course.
