Nice American Legion Course
The facility could use some cleaning, and the course is fairly straightforward with the occasional challenging hole. Would recommend that the additional cart fee be reduced from $14/person to $8/person.
A Great Value for the Price
This course is fun and a great value for the price. It features a lot of elevation change for a course in north central Indiana.
It's what you should expect from a public/muni course, and is a fun, while not super challenging course.
The lack of real difference between grass lengths makes some of the fairways/hole configurations hard to decipher for those playing the course for the first time.
I was referred to the course by other players stating how great of condition the course was in. I thought it was average at best. Crab grass in the fairways, tee boxes weren't trimmed, just regular grass. Greens were in good shape but were very slow. The course is challenging with all the hills and valleys. Blue tees are marked at 5880 yards +/-. I think it's a lot more than that. 228 yard par three? I think the course from the Blues plays more like 6500 yards. Staff was super friendly. GOLF NOW was a bit misleading, showing a cost of $10 but in the fine print, you have to pay for a cart when you get there.
The length is not long, but smaller raised greens will challenge your short game. Played with my son as a father's day gift. He got me this time, 66 to 73. My first round this year due to health issues. You get a good mixed bag with this course. Narrow fairways and wide fairways. Hilly and flat. Nice layout for a small course area. Overall a nice challenge and Great Time!
Love the Legion! Well groomed course ! Staff always friendly!! Will return!
was a good exsperience
We play this course once a year when visiting Kokomo and it is always a great experience
Played foursome for around $40 during their “special rates” which were posted on web page. This is second year in a row. Used to go to Chippendale but prices got out of hand there. This is just as good for the price.
This has got to be a Secret
Great place to play golf can not wait to play this again my buddy and I injoy it
Another great round!
Beautiful day, course in great shape !!!
What a wonderful golf course
What a wonderful golf course I play this course three or four times a year It is in very very good shape with kind of bad weather conditions is very well taken care of and very much appreciated enjoy playing it again
Great course, slow speed
Probably my favorite course in the area. Great for the $10 tee time on GolfNow but there is usually a large group, around 4-5 4somes, that tee off around 11-1130 that I usually catch by the 4th hole and then it’s a lot of sitting around and waiting. Most weekdays I will play by myself and play pretty quick. If you play with a large group or you don’t mind waiting then a noon tee time with the GolfNow price is great. If you are a slicer then don’t bother pulling out your driver until the 4th hole.
A great course to play
A great course to playWhat a wonderful wonderful enjoyable Rollinghills everything we’d like to play on the scores right course
This is a nice course. Fairways were very hard and dry. 27.00 for 2 to play 18 with cart is hard to beat.
