Great Value
The only downside to this course was the pace of play. Our tee time was at 2pm and we didn't finish the round until a little after 7pm. This is the first time I've seen it this bad, but overall is a great course.
Love Trophy Club!
I usually get out to play Trophy Club once or twice a year. It never lets me down. If this course was in the city it would be easily a $80 course. If you have never got the chance to play be sure and make your way just up interstate 65 to this beautiful place. You will not be disappointed.
Great course
In great shape and greens were very fast. We played early to beat crowd.
Tour greens
The draw for me is the greens. While the course is well maintained and a great time, the greens are true and quick. There are a few spots on the 18th green where 3 or 4 putts of 100 might go in. It was proven yesterday. Always a good time and usually not very crowded during the week.
Amazing Golf
The layout and condition are what you would expect from a top course. The elevation changes and hazards will push you to play well. Will play this course again.
Favorite course in central indiana
For the money this course is fantastic. It is an open and challenging layout. Mostly links style on the front 9 and a mix of links and woods on the back. Beautiful to the eye and extremely challenging. Greens roll true and have more breaks than most other courses.
Love the greens!!
The Trophy Club is one of my favorite courses, will play again soon. Thanks.
A fast and challenging course
Course is in good shape, playing hard and fast, making balls much easier to bounce into fescue. Greens are fast and very challenging. Overall a great links layout to play. Wind is always a factor here even when it isn't that windy.
very challenging
the course was in great shape. it was one of the most challenging courses i have played but also forgiving if you try to play smart. i dont think there is a flat spot on the course which was cool to play on for a change. cant wait to back
Weird setup, miles between holes
Not a bad course, weather had been bad previous, so track was not great. Just blah
An out of the blue find!
What a way to spend a morning of travel with nothing to do. This pristime links track resides south of Lafayette, Indiana near the town of Lebanon, north of Indy. An amazing plaze with plenty of challenge and greens that undulate aplenty, It is worth a sidetrip for those like me that "will travel-have golfclubs". Can't wait to play it again...
Enjoyed this course each time played
Constant testing your game in all areas is how I explain this course. No let up and very few straight putts. You have to stay out of the rough. A joy to play.
Great shape
The coarse was in great shape.
The speed of play was so slow it took the fun out of the game!
Excellent course, well maintained. Great value.
The course was in great condition. Greens showed ball-marks, but not severe. Great value. Course is a little out of the way, but well worth the drive - almost never crowded.
An excellent, Tim Liddy designed, link-styled golf course with water hazards on a gently sloped terrain.
The course seems always to be well maintained with smooth, large, and confounding greens. Based on tee time availability, the course seems to be growing in popularity as of the early summer months of 2013. The landing areas of the bent-grass fairways are generous, but scoring well requires thoughtful shot placement. Prairie Creek figures into the shot-making on many holes as do the ponds, fairway and greenside bunkers, and the grassy collection areas around some of the greens. The golfer's score will suffer for misses in the wrong places. From the proper tees, the Trophy Club provides a challenging and enjoyable round, walking or riding, for golfers of moderate to high skill levels.
Excellent as always
Great course, must play. I have played here several times over the years. Challenging and enjoyable.
Very challenging course, fun to play.
I thoroughly enjoyed playing here, and found it to be very challenging, even from the blue tees. Many holes have specific places to put your tee shot, and greens that need to be experienced. Since this was my 1st time playing here, the scoring wasn't what I'd hoped...but you really need to play it once just to understand the layout and especially the greens. I'll be back.
Trophy Club June 2013
Great Course. In really good shape. Played very hard.
Great course and great value
Course is challenging and in excellent condition. If you maintain course management during play, it is an easy course. If not, good luck!
Beautiful and challenging course.
Memorable holes and well maintained. If you are an aging golfer, I recommend playing it forward here.
