Always fun and challenging!
For several years, I would play Honeywell once or twice a year for a special tournaments and other things. However, in the last two or three years, I have been a frequent player there generally, once a week. Staff is always awesome, the course is in great condition, if you play at the right times, you can move right through without too much waiting. When I played on Monday, it was very hot as I arrived at about 10 AM. And all the early players were coming off as I was coming on. It took me a little less than three hours to play 18 holes. I was having a great day and staying out of the woods, which was nice, That doesn’t happen all the time… But the heat I am certain had something to do with how thin the crowd was that day. I would recommend this course for anyone who wants to have fun, and likes to be at least somewhat challenged.
Honeywell 6/8/2025
Course got a lot of rain the night before so it was understandable to be cart path only. Very good condition, back nine kicks my butt every time.
Nice course!
Some of the tee boxes had some issues (patchy grass, uneven, bare dirt areas). Fairways were nice, traps were clean and raked, most of the greens were great, just a few issues here and there. The course was busy the day we played so the pace was pretty slow but tolerable. All-in-all a nice course with some challenging holes.
WORTH THE TRIP
PLAY IT A FEW TIMES A YEAR.
GREAT VALUE FOR THE COST,
GREENS WERE IN GREAT SHAPE - FAST BUT NOT TO FAST. ROUGHS WERE CUT NICE FAIRWAYS WERE FAST AND FIRM.
Need a Starter and a Ranger
The course was busy and had tee times stacked. However who and when you tee'd off was not controlled . We watch one group tee off and drive into the group in front of them. Saw another group play from the Pro tees and 2 of the 4 guys barely hit it past the women's tee box. The 4some in front of us waited until the group in front of them were completely off the green and driving to the next hole before they tee'd off. This type of play continued throughout the course for the entire day.
