So-So Course
Fairways were like playing from the rough. Had to use longer clubs than I would normally use. However, they started mowing the course as I was making the round.
Grounds keeper told me Bermuda grass hasn't started growing as it has been cooler than normal. Greens were very well maintained. I will play this course later this summer just to see how the fairways play. 4 elevated greens adds some challenge. Ground crew stopped several times to chat and ask about my round. Very friendly people here.
Old Elks Course on Ohio River.
Course is an old Elks course on the Ohio River that was built in 1914. It has old school greens, a solid layout that has a fair amount of elevation changes and acceptable conditions.
Wow!
There were NO Cart paths, fairways or rough.. this was worst 1 hole experience of my golfing career.Yes i said 1 hole bc thats how long it took us to quit. I would recommend not playing golf if this is the only option available
Fun course!
We are staying close and couldn't pass up a super cheap quick course. I had a great time, only wish I had one near me.
Hidden Gem
Very nice 9 hole course. The greens are small and need a little work but for the money this is the perfect little 9 hole course to fine tune your skills.
Well groomed, and relaxing
Nice place to play, and walking is not a problem. The staff is friendly, and nice.
Nice tight course, good value, staff friendly.
Old school course, small greens, some burnt around the edges. Mature trees, plenty of shade, for heat relief. The layout is unique, give it a go once and see what you think.
Compact local course
Pretty short, tight little nine hole course. It has some alternate teeing grounds for playing 18 holes. Flat landscape except for holes 7 and 8, which dip into a little valley. The greens are very small, not terribly slow but a little bumpy. Overall a little better than expected for a local 9 hole layout.
Quaint little gem
Nice 9 hole course with speedy greens, and nice fairways. The 6 & 9 holes cross each other, which is a little different, but lots of fun. Elevation changes on nos. 6,7 & 9th holes. Bunkers were in great shape, so used the opportunity to play some practice shots also.
The course was great
The fair ways are very tight which make for very competitive play they keep the green in tip top shape
