Worst course I’ve ever played on. I didn’t expect much from previous reviews but I was still disappointed by the condition.
Arrived and there was no staff at the course just a sign taped to the door to text if you wanted to play. I had prepaid via golf now so after about 10 minutes of not seeing anyone I text the number and said I was just going to grab a cart and go. I had to send pictures of my GolfNow receipt to whoever was on the other end. I paid for 18 and played 9 due to the conditions.
Fairways were easily 6 inches. Every shot not on the green you basically lost a ball. Greens hadn’t been maintained and had weeds, were tall, you could barely putt. The cups were so filled with dirt the flags were just leaning sideways in the cups using the edge to stay in. Tee boxes (mats) were pretty rough, none were level and had all kinds of dips and waves in them. We were literally the only ones on the course for a few hours which was a plus because you spent more time looking for your ball than anything. The boards on the bridge you had to drive over were rotted and I thought we may fall through. I saw one person stop by the shop who looked like they were a worker but they were gone by the time we got to hole 9. The number I text did say that their person who mows didn’t show up that week but it was clear it hadn’t been mowed in weeks. This is a trap course… wouldn’t recommend
Worker was dancing
I walked in to this golf course and the man working the front was dancing on some sort of social media. Unacceptable!!!
Not Good...
The course is clearly not being maintained. There is not fairways...just grass which hadn't been mowed in too long so it was 1.5 to 2 inches long meaning every shot was from the deep rough. The green are terrible with some crabgrass so you can't get a true putt without the ball going in odd directions for no reason. The course needs some attention to turn it into a fair par 3 option.
Needs major improvement
No tee boxes. Have to hit off a mat. Greens are in horrible condition. Small 3 par course, sorry but can't recommend this course.
Great course, bad timing
This course is usually amazing, but the day I went the irrigation system has been out of commission for the past week and the greens were burnt up. Usually, this course is lush green and well maintained. Even thought my round was not the best because of this I would still recommend this course to others. When the irrigation system is fixed in the the next day or so they will have the greens looking amazing again soon.
Great for working on the short game.
Pretty much had the course to myself. Greens were a little froggy due to the time of the season. Never used more than a 7 iron, nice place to work on the short game.
