1st Visit Impression
Look, this isn’t the Masters, especially playing in Ft. Wayne, IN. There are some beautiful private courses here, but this one gets the job done. Took my 7 yr old son and he had a blast. He’s been begging to play ever since the weather started to get nice.
The pace was perfect and only had to wait maybe 2-3 minutes for the people ahead of us to finish before teeing off a couple of times. The course isn’t massive so majority of the holes are pretty close to each other. It’s easy to find your ball on the fairway of another hole is you slice it. The greens were nice and didn’t seem fast nor slow.
The staff were very nice and accommodating to anything we needed. No complaints at all.
The fellow golfers weren’t pro’s and were there for a good time out just to enjoy the sport and the weather. Loved seeing some high school kids playing the game as well.
Overall, if you’re looking for the best of the best in Ft. Wayne, this isn’t it. The best part is they know that. They truly want you to just have fun and enjoy the sport on a slightly better than decent course, with a few beers in your cooler.
