Whispering Creek Golf Club

Got a Groupon for cheap so get what you pay for, but left this course feeling maybe I didn’t. Was 6 minutes late and tee time got bumped an hour because we were “really late”. Course is in poor condition all around. Tee boxes, fairways (there are none), bunkers (ditto), etc. course was also dead except 5 groups and we were all on each other’s heels which is frustrating. No flow at all. Avoid if at all possible.

I’ve played this course since the 1970’s. I’ve seen it change hands a couple of times and the current owners have turned a decent course into a really nice venue. Highly recommended.

It's like hitting off of concrete! Tee box grass is about two inches. The greens are destroyed from sun spots or poor mowing. Price to play/membership is cheap for a reason! Not worth playing if you are a serious golfer.

The Fairways are spotty. Some greens show a lot of wear and tear.. sanded many in spots.. Did not like the idea of the Golf pro and his guest.. teeing off 10 when we were making the turn and had to wait.. slowed us up by about 15-20 minutes.

Whispering Creek is a unique layout with some challenges that can be risky or rewarding. To me it turned out risky. Hole 17 is a challenge that I have not figured out yet. Fun time and food people on staff.

Course was in fair condition. Apparently, the 2nd hole tee boxes were changed, but, the scorecard did not reflect this. No signage regarding this. Not sure what was going on. Definitely worth the GolfNow price of $10 + fees. But not a penny more!!!

This course is faily easy and has some Par 5s that can be reached in 2 shots for eagle opportunity.

Fair playing golf course. Very slow the day we played. Most of the clientele were high handicappers! We enjoyed our time out with the money that we spent.

The round of 18 for my TWOSOME took over 4.5 hours. Had to wait at least 10 minutes on every single tee box, most holes was more around 15 mins. Unfortunately it wasn’t just one group that could be passed. I understand there are different skill levels which can sometimes cause players to take longer but that was one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever experienced. Course mgmt needs to ensure groups are keeping pace. The course conditions definitely weren’t the best but for $18 for 18 with a cart I wouldn’t expect too much. Would’ve been more enjoyable if not for the terrible pace of play.

Have played this course multiple times and will continue to keep playing. Good course and a great way to use a variety of clubs at all different ranges. Still early in the season and course was in decent shape. Will return soon.

Friendly staff, nice variety of holes. Front nine finishes with par 5,3,5,3,5. Weil maintained greens and grounds.
