Unique 11 Hole Course
Course used to be 18 holes but other 9 was lost to flooding. Two additional
Holes were added and those are played on the second 9 to make 18 holes.
Wow!! Was I ever impressed-- played in mid Sept after I heard they have great greens--ok, right!!
Well they do-- best greens in the TH area by FAR!!
I was totally amazed at the complete 360* turnaround of this facility-- whoever is in charge should be extremely proud, because 2-3 years ago it was a goat ranch (at best).
I live less than 5 mins from course and will be back often with all my golfing buddies. And you can't beat the everyday afternoon special-$10/golf & cart (Sept).
Only, and I mean only drawback was the rough, it needs to be cut down a bit (we lost balls that were 5'-10' off fairways due to length of rough).
All in all, when compared to other local courses it is a B+ , only reason not a A+, is that it isn't a traditional 18 hole course.
Interesting course next to the Wabash river.
The course has changed it name to the Landing at River Bend. It is an old style course consisting of 10 holes.
