Fairways are brown
I was a bit disappointed to find the fairways completely brown and not as pictured on the golfnow app. It is January and it is zoyza, I understand that but the picture on the app while booking is deceptive. Please take a look and see. I drove 45 miles to find the fairways completely brown and not as pictured. I wouldn't have done that if I knew. Plus it was cart path only per course rule for some reason, (Not due to rain or snow) not really a big deal. Greens were super fast and couldn't adjust through out 18 holes.
College kids cut me out at the turn.
Reserved the tee time on golf now hot deal $29 one player, $36 with taxes, four hours before dark. Book solo couple of threesomes foursomes in front of me got through nine holes after 2 hours and 20 minutes. When I made the turn a group of 14 college kids and two coaches was allowed to start in front of me right after a threesome that I was waiting on to get off the green got to the tea box right ahead of them. Went into the clubhouse to see if I could get a rain check online holes, knowing I would not finish before dark. I was told to contact golf now to get my nine hole rain check. Golf now it doesn't offer rain checks unless of course is closed due to weather lost out on my mind wasn't going to wait around frustrated to play on my only day off
Decent course, but the tee boxes and greens need alot of work.
Great layout
Had a good time playing Dub’s Dread for the 3rd time this year. This was the first time I wasn’t able to compliment how great of condition the course was in. Not sure if there was a tournament here this past weekend or something along those lines, but the tee boxes and greens were not in good shape on about 14 of the 18 boxes. The grounds keepers were out in force bright in early from our 7am tee time all the way through. So, maybe they just hadn’t tended to the greens yet. Other than that, I love this course.
Course in great shape.
Have not played this course in several years. I was impressed as to how great shape this course was in. I will be back for sure.

Great condition and always a great layout. The course was surprisingly very busy mid day on a Wednesday which caused slower than expected playing time, but still a great golf course!
