Great venue, great vibes, friendly staff!
We heard they made some improvements
and I was definitely impressed!
I have a good time every time we go!
Great atmosphere, great people, just great all around!
Falcon Ridge is cool
Falcon Ridge is a fun, family friendly golf course! Love GLKC!
course with a refresh.
Falcon Ridge is going to be a great course. Recently course was changed to a private members only course.
Hole #2 was a victim of the City of Lenexa drainage break earlier this year. It's back in play, there is a small area that is still grounds under repair.
Greens are starting to comeback, they were aerated about a month ago, but the inconsistent midwest weather slowed down the maturity process.
Some bunkers could use a sand refresh.
Overall, It's great course, that will get even better!
Early season Round
When you play golf in late march you do not expect the conditions to be perfect...the fairway grass was still dormant...but the course was pretty dry...the greens were in amazing shape for this time of year but ...a lot of divots. Nnice layout...got paired up with a couple of members who were very pleasant...only problem was the cart path only rule and it was a long up and down hill walk to every shot...we would not play again if it was cart path only...otherwise very enjoyable round
Falcon Ridge Course
The course overall is in excellent shape . The greens were fast and if you end up in the rough it's difficult to exit. The only negative was no one managed the pace of play . S L O W
Challenging Pin placements
My wife and I played Falcon Ridge for the first time on Labor day. While the course was busy, the pace of play was good. My wife appreciated the placement of the ladies tee boxes versus the blue tee boxes. The course was in great shape. We were paired up with two gentlemen who were members of the course. That gave us a huge advantage. Had we not had instruction from them on a few of the holes, we may not have known the trouble that was in front of us. Other than a few questionable pin placements, the course was very enjoyable. We would play it again in a heartbeat.
Well worth the money
This course is in perfect condition, overnight rains did however affect the playability of the sand traps. The layout is suitable to all levels of golfers with several tee boxes from which to choose. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the beer was cold.
Look out for drunk home owners
Great condition in perfect weather, I had a good round going until a home owner on the 11th hole started yelling obscenities at my foursome, and was making rude comments about our swings and shots. He was clearly intoxicated and announced that he owned the course. Not a good look for the course if he in fact was the owner. That is not how you treat customers. His unwanted addition to our afternoon ruined the rest of the round for all of us. I am not mad at the course, as they cannot restrain homeowners behavior.
Great course
This is the third time I have played here in the past two year and I love this course! Great lay out and one of the most beautiful courses in KC area.
Scenic Golf Course - very fast greens
We enjoyed seeing this golf course. The staff was good. Pace of play good. We finished in about 4 hours. The greens are extremely fast. The pin placements were very difficult on a number of holes. They were on crests or in the middle of severe slopes. It made a few holes nearly impossible to two putt or to even chip the ball near the hole. Good test of your short game. Spend your time on the putting green, not the range. It will help you when play this golf course. The green fee was a bit expensive; 140 for two players with cart. However, the holes were fun to play. Scoring very difficult unless you have a putting touch dialed in beforehand. Be ready with your scoring clubs.
Great greens
Great course that be set up to provide a variety of challenges to the golfer who plays the course regularly. The staff was great. There were several wet areas on the course and the fairways were not completely recovered from the winter and appeared partially dormant. I will play this course again. It's one my favorites in the KC area.
First time and will be back.
Enjoyed golfing on a new course. Challenging but fu.n. Dreamed of owning one of the houses on the course. Play went fast and staff very friendly.
Course was in horrible condition
Understandable for aeration but greens were bad shape regardless, rough hadn't been touched in over a week
Expensive for condition of course
