Awesome course from tee to green. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were consistant and about 10.5 on the stemp. Greens had a lot of ball marks but we're smooth and true. No beverage cart. GPS on carts. Not much of a clubhouse but they are building a new one. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Not for the beginning golfer. Beautiful course, but challenging. It is also a fair course as long as you hit it straight.

The greens have recovered well from aeration and course is excellent condition The layout of holes makes no hole look like any other and it would take a few rounds to learn the idiosyncracy of each. Definitely would play again but the facility needs good managment. The temporary bathrooms are not clean and needs this improved especially for women players that notoriously hate temps. but also avoid the temps. The club house seems understaffed but the one staff member present was excellent. Would love to see plans other than real estate development,

First off, greens has just been aerated, at no point of making the tee time or previous to playing were we informed of that fact. If I would have know, I would not have been willing to shell out $50 to play. The rough was horrible, in most places there was little to not grass and if there was grass most of it was infested with weeds. The fairways were tight and fast, not necessarily a negative, but something to be aware of, not the typical lush zoysia fairways you see in Kansas City.

My new favorite course! New to the KC area and have played nine different courses in '15....this is the best course yet! No two holes are even close to the same which made for a very enjoyable experience. Played from middle set of tees...moving back makes this course very challenging. Course is very well maintained and looks to be getting even better under the new management company. Member practice facilities looked good but public was pretty bad. Clubhouse from the outside looks dumpy but the inside has been redone and is completely functional and fine.

The course is very challenging. This course would be tough for below average golfers who spray or roll their shots. The greens were in great shape as were the fairways. This is an excellent course to challenge even the best of golfers.

The course is in great shape. The clubhouse isn't much but the practice facilities are on point. Fairways are flawless. Very challenging course with views not normally seen in the KC area.

If you have read reviews of later posts on this course they have fixed everything that people complained about! Friendly staff, GPS on carts, hole to hole navigation.

The course itself was awesome! Made you feel like you were playing golf down in the Ozarks. Definitely a different course for the area! Word of advice, don't try to bash driver on this course if you have never played here. Conservative golf will give you a well deserved score!

Great course. Fun to play and in great shape. Only negative was we were a two some and the group in front did not allow us through. Was stuck behind the entire back nine.

The course is very well maintained. The course has no maps or shapes on the card of the holes which makes for a long day which would make for an easier club selection when hitting your shots. The course has some beautiful views of the rock quarry from limestone walls to beautiful streams meandering through the fairways. The greens are very fast for the area and smooth and dangerous if you hit the ball in the wrong place.

The course was super. I layout was like a picture and the fairways where like a plush carpet. I donated several balls to the course but it was worth it because it was a challenge and a pleasure playing it
Also the greens where in excellent condition and holding really good. My next time I am in Kansas I me will return to play again. I am visiting from myrtle beach and we have 100 courses and this one is in the top 10 of the courses back home

Every course is in great shape right now, but GC of KS is in excellent shape! Fastest greens I played all summer. Higher green fees have kept the total rounds on the course low this year, and the conditions reflect the minimal use. Easily worth $40 green fee.

This was my second round played, but the first for my son, and another fellow, Alex. We met Alex on the range, and were paired up with him by virtue of us signing up online for the same tee-time. The overall course conditions were in tip-top shape. The greens, in particular, were in perfect condition. Their speed was quite slick, and that is how we like them! We want to return as soon as possible.

Great layout. The fairways are immaculate and the greens are great. Only played 9, but will be back again to play all 18.

The Golf Club of Kansas was a fun bit of golf! I got paired with a couple of long hitting young fireman and enjoyed watching them hit in places I used to! Very challenging layout with fairly quick greens! For me it was target golf with a driver which don't always work out! I'd like to play it again now that I know where not to hit the ball!

Great layout! Every hazard in the book- watch out. you'll need every shot you know. Love to play here, not because I score well. I'm handicapped , the staff bent over backwards to help me out. I'll be back

Outstanding golf course in excellent condition. Distances from greens to tees are extreme so course is un-walkable. With so many excellent courses to play in the Kansas City area my only complaint would be the price which is $10-$15 higher than most of the other courses in town for late afternoon play. That is the only downside. The course is magnificent and in my opinion the toughest course I have played in KC to date. Would be great to play with someone that was familiar with the course as no one in our group had played it and we were lost as to distances to landing areas and which way some of the holes doglegged.

Very good course, challenging layout. Local knowledge would be very helpful.
