Quick summary
Course holds water, doesn't drain well. No coolers on the course. Holes do not cross over each other. Sand traps hold water and not maintained.
Great couse if you can get a discount
I got a great $10 hot deal today for 18 holes with a cart at 2:50pm! Considering the amount of rain received yesterday, the course was in pretty good shape, but I found myself preferring to play from the rough because there was more grass in the rough than the fairways. I thought they were cut too short for this time of year.
Greens were large and generous, but were just recently aeriated so they were sandy and bumpy. If you don't hit the ball straight, bring lots of disposible golf balls. Fairways are tight and most holes have heavy woods lining both sides. The 18th hole was the best by far. Large landing area, faiway was green and the water fronting the green was exciting.
Lots of wildlife and woods. Overall, a good golf day (as if there is a bad one!). Staff is very friendly.
Website says its 20 miles south of Louisville. It was 35 miles from Okolona. Took a while to get there.
Overall, a great deal at $10, but I wouldn't pay full price until later in the year.

Peaceful and serene course, lots of deer and other wildlife. This course is perfect for people who enjoy the sights and sounds of nature while playing a friendly game of golf.

it was a little cool in the am. lots of leaves on the fairways. spent a lot of time looking for golfballs.

shape. Green's were fast, but the bunkers could use
a little work.
Great layout with improving conditions
This course is recovering well from many seasons of mis-management. The new owners are focused on making the course live up to its full potential. Fantastic layout, greens in great shape with quite of bit of "work in process" improvements evident. Excellent value.
The course wasn't crowded. The greens were good and fast. Nice place
I like Doe Valley. The greens are great, it's not very crowded, its just a nice place plus it was a good price. I think we'llplay there again especially at the price we paid.
