Hidden Gem
Online pictures do not do this course justice. The hilly terrain was utilized for some wild hikes and green locations. I knew I was in for a very good course after the tumbling fairway and hidden green off the tee.
Course has too many good holes to name
Them all. One of the best courses in the area and worth a play.
Great golf in a small town
The course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. The greens, tees and fairways are beautiful. And the course layout is exceptional as always. Some great risk/reward opportunities. You just don’t expect a course of this quality in small town Kentucky!
Slow play
Letting to many groups out with 5 people and were hacking it all over! Took over 4 hours to get to hole 14 and I left! I understand guys wanting Saturday games, but come on! You don't have look at every putt like it's the Masters! Be ready to hit and get going! 2 holes empty in front of them most of the round!
Only allowing people to play the back 9. So get ready for a long day. Should have had GolfNow put something on here letting people know.
A Wonderful Day for Golf
It was a warm but great afternoon - light winds, low humidity and light traffic on the course. Greens are in great shape and the fairways have only some isolated bare spots. They are redoing all of the cart paths and when done, the travel around the course will be smooth and safe.
no complaint
there is no complaint about this course everything was in great shape the greens was in good shape no bad spots and fast fairway and rough was mowed good a great place to play
Best Course and Staff in the Central KY area
Ed and the rest of the staff at LTGC are the best. Course is in great shape and they continue to improve. Value is unmatched but the friendly environment is what makes LTGC the best around. LTCG is the only course worth spending money on in the area and we will continue to do so. Thanks for another great round of golf!
Great course at a great price!
Lincoln Trail is a fun course at a reasonable price. The layout is not terribly long but plenty of slope to challenge golfers. Fairways are coming In fairly well and the greens are in great shape. Clearly the best course in the local area. Highly recommend.
Hidden Gem
There aren't many folks that I know who have heard of or played LT. It's a favorite course of mine when I want to play somewhere outside the Louisville area. The only bad hole on the course is the first one, so you sort of get the ugly stuff out of the way quickly. The conditions are always good and the routing is really fun. It's a course that you need to think your way around, as many holes call for less than driver off the tee. I make the 45-minute drive to play it 4-5 times a year.
To crowded
To crowded, played many times before never had this problem . Had a set of 4 a set of 3 then me and another plus a group of 2 and 4 behind them all teeing off at same time someone should had went to back nine to start but club house guy said no . Normal great place tough but good
Social Distancing
It was nice to get out and play a round of golf.
I played by myself and finished in 3 hours. I took my time and sometimes played an extra shot.
I really like the layout on a number of holes. The course was in good shape for early spring. The greens were very good.
Don’t waste your time here
First off my wife wanted out of the house so I told her she could come to the course with me and just ride in the cart. The course charged me 10 dollars extra ( with all this corona virus stuff) then proceeded to be smart about it. I told them I’ve never had a course do that then the staff said we had to pay 6 grand for these carts how else we suppose to pay for them? I’ve never had that happen!
The course is a total dump and it’s not near worth the 30 bucks a rd they charge. The yards around the course have greener grass than the course itself. It’s another course not well maintained.
I had 2 foursomes in front of me getting wasted drunk, screaming a yelling constantly. No golf etiquette by the staff or players here. . I could be wrong but from the rudeness of everyone at the place I’ll never go back there.
