Meadowood Golf Club

The course is short but the fairways and greens are in need of some care. Other than that, my 90 year old mother loved playing it.

Not the best not the worst. Great value for a quick 9

The wife and I decided last minute to play a quick 9 and Meadowood is about 5 minutes from our house. There were only about 5 groups total playing so the pace was great. Some of the greens and tee boxes could use some work but for $12/person with a cart, I can overlook it’s shortcomings.

I play here once a week because it’s close to home and relatively inexpensive. Usually play early in the morning around 7:30 and you can get in 18 holes under 4 hours. Fairway cuts are long, almost no difference between rough cuts. Most of the greens are in pretty decent shape except holes 4 and 7. I do enjoy playing here when it’s not busy.

We paid for 9 holes at 9:40. When got to the tee there were 9 groups ahead of us we didn’t take our first swing until 10:15. This course was severely overbooked and the holes are very tight to one another.

Don’t waste your time booking a tee time here as it doesn’t matter to them when you start. Even with a 9:50 tee time we didn’t tee off until about 10:30. There was a line of at least 10 carts in front of us that were mainly walk in customers. We had to wait 10 minutes to tee off on every hole as the pace was not monitored and people were hitting 8+ shots in front of us. It’s a good beginning course to play but the whole course is the same height grass. Overall disappointed with our overall experience here today.

This is one of my favorite practice courses. It’s not in the best conditions but has wider fairways than most which is why I practice here so much. If your looking for an escape with your friends though, this is not the place

Slow play following league. Very hot, but was expected.
