Great fun course
This is a really fun course. It has lots of challenges. Really made you think about your shot abd club selection, especially on your tee shots. Great practice facilities. Includes a putting green, driving range, and chipping green.
Great value
Course is a great value. Both times I have been here, we have gotten through our round in just I under 4 hours. Course is in decent shape with some rough patches along open fairways that get too much sun. Course is not the most challenging but is very long and definitely tests your accuracy to hit fairways.
Hidden gem
If I lived closer , this would be my home course. Fun course, staff and Marshall very friendly!!
Worth a second chance
Played this course years ago and was not particularly impressed. Not sure if I or the course have changed but I found the course to be a very nice layout with some fairly easy holes and yet some very challenging holes mixed in. There is a good mix of par 3's and par 5's. I did rate the pace of play to be relatively poor. In fairness, I played on a sunny friday afternoon in July. The course was packed and the staff did their best to keep things moving. In terms of condition, there have been weeks of extremely heavy rain. The course had a few locations that were muddy, however, given the recent weather, the conditions overall were pretty good. One negative that I noticed, which says more about the players than the course, I cant remember being on a course with more unrepaired ball marks on the greens than I saw yesterday (perhaps the volume/pace of play contributed to this). Looking forward to coming back in the Fall when things slow down a bit.
The course was in great shape
The course was in real good shape but the price was a little high for Friday morning tee time
Great course and great value!
Course was in very nice shape. Fairway, rough and greens all well manicured. As a 20 handicap I found it to be a pretty forgiving course. It was surprisingly uncrowded on a Friday afternoon where I only paid 30 dollars for 18 with cart. Friendly shop staff, starter and Marshall and a nice group of people out on the course. I'm looking forward to coming back here!
One of my favorites courses
Love this course ..always fun....staff is very friendly
I try to play here at least once a week or more.
Good condition course slow pace
The course is in good condition, but the pace of play was a joke. We played on a sat. So I wasn't surprised about slow play but this was. The worst I've ever seen. We waited almost 15 to 20min every tee box. We waited more time then we played. At one point we play this short par 3 four times just waiting to hit the next tee. No Rangers spotted the whole round. To top it off I asked a couple of guys for help bc I was new to the course and they were very rude and talked to me like I'm a dumb kid. The course is nice tho. It's called wetlands but water is never really in play unless u shank one bad. I would only play this on week days.
Good coarse very horrible pace of play
Very good fairways and greens but the place of play was the worst. Took us 4 hours to get through 15 holes because we were waiting most of the time. Our usual play is 3 hours for 18 holes. After the 15th hole we just left because we couldn't take it anymore. There was a worker driving around but didn't seem like he was paying attention to the slow pace of play.
Not worth the money for the wait.
My New Home Course
This is my new home course, as it is close to my house and has some nice Golf Now specials. Course is short for the ladies, but still can be challenging, because the greens are very large and hard. The ball goes flying off the back if you don't hit it short and let it run up to the pin. Pace of play can be a little slow on the weekends, but people have been anxious to get out and play for a long time because of the winter.
The course was in great shape considering the time of the year.
The area had an extreme winter and the course was in great shape considering. The personnel were friendly and the food was good and the beer was cold. Great value for the money.
Recommend this course.
Play all around in Maryland & Pa. and this course is well worth the price. Fairways well maintained and the greens rolled very well, a little fast as I like. Have played there many times which were always enjoyable.
Course was enjoyable to play
For early spring the course was in excellent shape, grounds peoples are doing an excellent job working on the course, leveling tee boxes and raking sand bunkers. Pace of play was great played in 4 hours. Recommend playing this course to anyone, the price was right.
Nice course
Wetlands is a nice course with a few challenging holes but nothing overly dramatic. Water comes into play on a few holes and the 18th can be very tough if there's a strong wind. Course conditions were ok for late spring but should be much better when the weather warms.
early season growing pains
Course is not ready for rime time. It is early in the season, you can see the work being done. Builtee boxes on several hole. Will be very nice once it starts warming up.
Course was well maintained. Challenging.
Will play there again. Will recommend.Need more potties placed on course. One of the best well maintained courses I've played on. Very pleased.
Nice Course
Well kept course. Nicely priced. Good pace. Definitely play again.
Great course, great value
We'll maintained course, even fairways, tight greens, diverse holes, nice layout, great value.
Quick play, good fun
Played 18 in 3 hrs as twosome. Greens and tee boxes in good shape. Good beer on tap. Great value.
