Ruggles Golf Course

For starters: If you book a HOT DEAL, reguardless of what time your reservation says,, it is NOT sychronised with the Pro Shop's tee-sheet. Once the first of 4 golfers checked-in ( I was one of two single) we were moved from 12:30pm to first available at 12:57pm. The Pro-Shop suggested that once you book a HOT DEAL that you call the pro shop a few days before your date and let them know so you have a better chance of getting what you asked for,

2nd:: There is NO water coolers anywere on the course so on a HOT & Humid day, be prepared.

As a single, I was able to jump up in tee-time and played with a couple that are regulars. They said the course in the last 3 week went from a 3 to 7 because with all the rain.

The Greens, are in good shape, but slow. Fairways were in excellant shape. Appears the sand traps are in very good shape. I never got to play out of them and more than half had standing water from torrential rains a few days ago.

Overall the course is easy and does not have something for " ALl Skill Levels" like 99% of all golf courses claim in their description. I always laugh when I read that about a golf courses.

By the time I finished 18 ( 3 hrs 50 mins later), there was a slew of golfers lined up to play during the twight hour. It was a Friday, so that was expected but it was more than I have seen at other courses.

I would recommend this course to those with a high handicapp. Others should consider a course with more challenges and "Risk-Reward" holes.

Enjoyed my round and would play again as the course is in pretty good shape .

They have a locker room with showers, so that helped a lot, to clean up and change clothes before meeting friends for happy hour.

Gitst round at Ruggles. Good condition and best value play. Looking forward to play more rounds this summer.

Great layout it’s long from the folios but it just needs a lot of love

I would highly recommend requiring a cart purchase on weekends when it’s busiest, the back nine especially can bog down the pace of play. Overall great layout for the course for the price you pay, conditions are rough right now but I’m sure it’ll get better as the season progresses.

I love coming here, good course, but do not recommend using golf now to book, the staff dislikes it and says golf now and their internal system does not communicate so alot of double bookings.

Love this course and the staff. Never a bad experience here. Great course for all levels of players. I don’t loose balls here. And really get a chance to open up and rip some balls down the fairway. I highly recommend this course!!

Got charged a convenience fee that I tried to cancel immediately but I was denied. I won’t be using this Golf pass anymore.

Course was in good shape overall. Greens had been aerated but it's that time of year. Weather was excellent , pace of play was very good.

Course was in good shape and the golf cart ran well, and there was actually sand in the bunkers. I’m excellent course located in Hartford county, easily accessible, and good for all levels of golf skills
